the work on carlos talamantes jr. is to be considered preliminary......he was perhaps the most pivotal worker in modern high speed boat design.....he is also the father of the inventor of captive pulse engines....some of the relevency may be classified, however much of his contribution is able to be published, and this article is intended to be worked out and polished into a very informative piece of information....please be patient--Angel of abyss (talk) 20:53, 21 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 23:13, 19 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wiki, can you spend a bit of time reading WP:5P? Your contributions so far have been interesting and relevant, but it might be an idea to try and structure things a bit more. Let's make that Captive Pulse article a good one. Cheers Greg Locock (talk) 23:13, 19 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Notability of Carlos Talamantes Jr. edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Carlos Talamantes Jr., by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Carlos Talamantes Jr. seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Carlos Talamantes Jr., please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. You MUST explain why he is notable on the Talk page, otherwise it will be deleted. I cannot find anything in that article that is makes me think anybody would look him up in an encyclopaedia. BTW, you also must add references to the engine article, otherwise it will be deleted. I am quite serious. You have also misused the "in use" tag I think, not that that is a big deal. As you can see that article has been speedily deleted. If you post stuff, and ignore requests like 'use the Talk page', then this will happen to your other contributions. Two ways to prevent this is to write the article on your own pc and then post it in its completed form, and make sure that you adhere to WP:5P<- THIS IS MOST IMPORTANT. You are running out of time with the captive pulse section, you have maybe a week to make it comprehensible, and perhaps a little longer to add references (typically). Since the deleted article was at least grammatical and comprehensible, why not do the same for the Captive Pulse article? I still cannot tell exactly what is being proposed, other than that you seem to have a piston type blower, and are presumably using poppet valves for both intake and exhaust.
