Diggory Passage

Hi I was wondering if you could help me a few years ago you added Diggory Passage to the Walford page and it has since been removed because it has not be sourced. I don't suppose you can remember which E20 Promotional Video it was show in.

Series 1+3 Clips http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00k0b4b/clips

Series 2 Clips http://www.bbc.co.uk/eastenders/e20/behindscenes/

I realise it was a long time ago but if you could just take a quick look, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks Kelvin 101 (talk) 15:38, 4 December 2014 (UTC)

Kelvin 101, I'll see if I can have a look through soon, if you still want me to find out for you. I think it was series 1. –anemoneprojectors– 08:34, 4 April 2015 (UTC)

Lauren Branning

Hi AP!

Just a quick query, shouldn't Lauren be listed as a returning regular? I'm sure that her classification was changed way back in February but now she's listed as a present regular. I think her break is only temporary while Jacqueline Jossa is on maternity leave but shouldn't she be listed as returning regular not present regular?--5 albert square (talk) 11:58, 5 April 2015 (UTC)

I think she should be returning regular, yeah. Isn't that how we normally deal with maternity leave? –anemoneprojectors– 12:14, 5 April 2015 (UTC)
I thought it was but looks as if it keeps getting changed back. I'll change it again.--5 albert square (talk) 12:18, 5 April 2015 (UTC)
See what I mean? Did we ever get consensus about this anywhere? I looked at WP:SOAPS but found nothing. I'm starting to think I should start a discussion there.--5 albert square (talk) 13:27, 5 April 2015 (UTC)
Actually, in the past, we've not marked up maternity leave as a proper departure in every case. There's not really a consensus. –anemoneprojectors– 14:00, 5 April 2015 (UTC)
Thanks. I may start something at WP:SOAPS to try and get consensus. Not sure why we would list them as present regular if they're not there :)--5 albert square (talk) 14:18, 5 April 2015 (UTC)

Stan Carter

Hey AP!

I'm on a bit of a stress-related Wikibreak at the moment so figured this was the best place to bring this up so you're fully aware of what's happened.

Someone keeps trying to move Stan Carter to his own page despite the talk page saying that the article needs to be built up first. At first it was an IP creating it so I semi-protected the article. Now it's the user Cindy's Cafe.

While you were on your Wikibreak, an edit war broke out on the Nick Cotton page with an IP adding lots of unnecessary information numerous times before the page was locked by Drmies. Once the page was locked, the user Cindy's Cafe suddenly started posting and I'm certain that the only reason they then didn't edit Nick Cotton again was because I told them I knew what they were up to.

The same sort of thing is happening with Stan Carter. An IP hasn't got their way so now Cindy's Cafe is getting involved. Looking at the IP that keeps trying to create Stan Carter's page, they appear to be similar to the ones used to disrupt Nick Cotton's page. In fact Geolocate even has them under the same postcode! I'm convinced it's Cindy's Cafe that's behind the IP edits, I think that what they may be trying to do is to try and gain some form of consensus by editing logged out and then by editing logged in.

What do you think?--5 albert square (talk) 05:33, 16 April 2015 (UTC)

Looks like it yes. Should we fully protect the page? I do want it to be made though, just not as it stands. Only I don't think I'm going to be the person to do it. And sorry to hear of your stress, hope you feel better soon! –anemoneprojectors– 13:37, 16 April 2015 (UTC)
I've been thinking about this all day and I've decided to fully protect it and for 2 months to mix things up a little :). One way that they may get around it is by creating Stan Carter (EastEnders) or another variant so I think I'll add that page to my watchlist :). As for my stress, it's work-related so I'm sure it'll be over soon *sigh*--5 albert square (talk) 17:49, 16 April 2015 (UTC)
Well done for that. I've also put that on my watchlist. –anemoneprojectors– 08:49, 17 April 2015 (UTC)

Welcome Back!

  Welcome Back!
Good to see you back :) 5 albert square (talk) 14:46, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
Fanks! EE pages are looking good, I think! :-) –anemoneprojectors– 14:52, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
Yeah, there's only a few that have suffered recently, Lauren Branning and The Queen Vic. It helps though that a certain sock doesn't seem to have been around :)--5 albert square (talk) 15:11, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
Good! I'm glad that Live Week and Who Killed Lucy have articles, as I didn't want to have to write them now! All I really need to make sure is that the awards list is up to date, as there have been loads. –anemoneprojectors– 15:15, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
Danny-Boy Hatchard also has his own article now as does Bobby Beale. Not sure that Danny passes WP:ENT though.--5 albert square (talk) 16:52, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
I saw some characters have been split off - Tina, Charlie, Bobby and Cindy. I don't think I have a problem with those, but DBH I think should be deleted. –anemoneprojectors– 16:55, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
Welcome back AP! Delighted to see you again! I hope the articles are looking okay. I've been helping out with the EE 2015 list, and with editors trying to add every relative under the sun to the iboxes. 5asq and I have witnessed some crazy moments there. - JuneGloom07 Talk 17:02, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
Thanks! I bet you have. I've just gone back 30 days on my watchlist to look at the EE updates from that period and already corrected some bizarre additions, like Archie being stepfather to Phil and Grant! –anemoneprojectors– 17:46, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
Oh there have been a lot of random step family members and in-laws add to the iboxes. It's not just EE that has been affected, my personal favourite was this "unofficial stepdaughter" [1]. - JuneGloom07 Talk 18:17, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
LOL :-) –anemoneprojectors– 21:25, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
Welcome back to the site! I look forward to see how you update the GenoPro trees if you still do it. Arjoccolenty (talk) 19:40, 4 April 2015 (UTC)
Thanks. I will still do it. I'm assuming that no trees have been updated since I was last on, so other than the Carters, what other trees will need updating? –anemoneprojectors– 11:04, 5 April 2015 (UTC)
@AnemoneProjectors: On the Beale family, Kathy is alive and well and Ian and Jane are remarried. Cindy Jr. is Ian's legal ward if you wanna include her also and her daughter Beth, who is TJ's daughter. Cindy Jr.'s biological father is Nick Holland. Peter and Lauren are engaged and having a baby.

On the Branning family tree, you have Jim's grandfather James William Branning though you didn't add him or his two sons (Jim's uncle and father) for some reason you told me but I can't remember right now. Suzy's ex-husband's name is Ken and there is no surname and he is the father of her children, Rebecca and Ken. Max and Kirsty are divorced. Peter and Lauren are engaged and having a baby.

Carter family tree: Stan's grandfather's name was Reginald William Carter. As far as I know, Stan and Sylvie are divorced and Sylvie's maiden name is Smith. Dean and Mick are full-brothers (blech!) and their father is Buster Briggs. Linda is pregnant with either Mick or Dean's baby. Dean and Shabnam Masood had an unnamed daughter that was adopted out.

I assume you don't do anything for the Ferreiras, Karims or Watts.

Mitchell family: Phil and Sharon are married, Grant and Carla are divorced, Charlie Jr. and Ronnie are married and Matthew Mitchell-Cotton is their son, Roxy and Alfie are divorced, Clive and Elaine have sons named Harry and Charlie (two Charlie Mitchells in the family; one being Billy's brother). Dan Pearce and his wife are divorced as she walked out

There is a whole article for the Slaters now.

That's pretty much it. I don't expect you to do it all. I just wanted to let you know. Arjoccolenty (talk) 00:18, 6 April 2015 (UTC)

I'll get around to it at some point. Can you nudge me in a few days if I haven't done anything by, say, Friday of this week? –anemoneprojectors– 06:48, 6 April 2015 (UTC)
It might take me a bit longer as I don't actually have internet access at home right now, but I can certainly get onling more than I was, so it might be at the weekend instead. –anemoneprojectors– 13:52, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
@AnemoneProjectors:Another three when you get the time: Jim is dead and Stan and Sylvie are still married. Also Cora and Stan will never be married, despite what everybody else says since he dies tomorrow. Edna Smith is Sylvie and Babe's mother. Arjoccolenty (talk) 22:15, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
Yes, thanks. Will see if I can do it today actually while I'm in the library. I had a feeling Stan and Cora wouldn't marry. –anemoneprojectors– 08:05, 10 April 2015 (UTC)

Ok so here's what I'm not going to add: Lauren's engagement to Peter and her pregnancy (will wait until the baby comes), Cindy to the Beale's (she's not adopted or anything). James William Branning - I'm not sure how significant he is, and I don't remember this Gordon fellow being mentioned, and he's maybe not that significant either. For the same reason I won't add Stan's grandfather. I know I did do this with the Beale tree, but I don't have loads of time and it's not that significant. I might add them at a later date, especially as I am adding Edna. ... Right, I've done some but am going offline now because I do need to go home but I may actually have internet access at home now so hopefully I'll be back - my dongle is due to be delivered this morning!! –anemoneprojectors– 08:22, 10 April 2015 (UTC)

@AnemoneProjectors::Understandable. Are you gonna build the whole Slater family tree (since there is a [poor] article on it) or skip over that? And then how should we approach Dean and Shabnam's one-night-stand baby? She would be about 7 or around there and have a different name since Shabnam abandoned her (which is why I also think Mick will be the father of Linda's fourth child).
I didn't have internet access back... sorry! But do now (but have a busy weekend ahead). I have done a Slater tree, though it's not cleaned up or probably completed, but I don't think the article should be there as it's all just storylines, with no real-world info and no references. –anemoneprojectors– 21:46, 10 April 2015 (UTC)

@AnemoneProjectors::::Sounds good. You are the only one that knows how to do the trees so, good luck I guess. Arjoccolenty (talk) 22:26, 10 April 2015 (UTC)

@Arjoccolenty: Oh dear, what happens to the trees when I'm gone forever?! (PS no need to ping on my own page!) –anemoneprojectors– 06:39, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
They'll be gone also. Arjoccolenty (talk) 07:32, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
I can't be the only person who knows how to make tidy family trees in GenoPro though. I only use it here because I use it for my own family tree :-) –anemoneprojectors– 07:47, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
I know how to use GenoPro, but my trees are not tidy! - JuneGloom07 Talk 15:02, 11 April 2015 (UTC)

You said to nudge you if you haven't done anything, so nudge. Arjoccolenty (talk) 21:19, 12 April 2015 (UTC)

Thanks. Probably will have to be tomorrow afternoon after 2pm for me to continue working on the trees, and then uploading them. :-) –anemoneprojectors– 15:25, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
@Arjoccolenty: actually I can work on it today. Are we absolutely sure that Dan Pearce was married to Lola's mother? That's really the only change I don't want to make. –anemoneprojectors– 08:14, 14 April 2015 (UTC)
No. But then again I am succumbing to US soap logic instead of UK soap logic. If the child has the father's last name, it means the parents were married. If the child has the mother's name, it means they weren't. Unless they were given up for adoption. I just can't see a one-night-stand or ex-lover dumping their child on the father. But we will probably never know and it will be left dangling, just as we won't know when Roxy and Sean were divorced. Arjoccolenty (talk) 16:32, 14 April 2015 (UTC)
I'd rather leave it as an unknown as it's original research otherwise. Technically in the UK a child is always meant to take the father's surname if known, but soaps (and probably real life) always go with the mother's. So tomorrow I will upload family trees for the Beales, Carters, Mitchells and Brannings. –anemoneprojectors– 16:44, 14 April 2015 (UTC)
@Arjoccolenty: I've uploaded the 4 trees. Are you able to check to see if I missed anything? Thanks. –anemoneprojectors– 09:55, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
I will, once they appear on the pages. They aren't on the pages yet. Arjoccolenty (talk) 10:00, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
I think they all got removed actually. I'll revert them, they probably got removed due to being out of date! –anemoneprojectors– 10:02, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
Do you know what. With the tree lists we have in the way they're done, do we really need the images? The tree lists are easier to maintain, and look neater... –anemoneprojectors– 10:13, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
Not sure, but the trees look good except for a few nitpicky mistakes that you can ever fix or ignore.

Beale: Maggie wasn’t Beale at her birth, but Medeemey since she was born out of wedlock, David had a child with Carol Branning, not Carol Jackson and Rebecca is now Fowler and not Miller. Branning: James Branning is deceased and Rebecca is now Fowler and not Miller. Carter: Stan is deceased as is Mark Reynolds and Jimmy’s last name is Wicks. Jimbo Wicks is deceased as is Kevin. Stan married Sylvie Smith and not Carter. Mitchell: Kathy Beale is marked as deceased on the Mitchell family tree and she isn’t. Arjoccolenty (talk) 12:49, 15 April 2015 (UTC)

I have to admit, I do have a bit of a problem using names that weren't used in the show, since it's fiction not reality. Maggie was only ever called Flaherty, Carol only ever Jackson, Sylvie only ever Carter. I know it looks odd though. I hadn't put any deaths in the Carter tree. I also have a bit of a problem with that, because for the vast majority of Stan's time in the show, and Kevin's, and any other for that matter, they're alive, not dead. So if you watch a recent episode, you might see Stan alive, and then wonder why the family tree on Wikipedia says he's dead. Nobody in fiction is ever really deceased. The more I think about this, the more I think we should just keep the textual trees and remove the images - they're getting too complicated anyway! Especially the Mitchells! And if Roxy were to get pregnant by Charlie it'll be a nightmare ;-) –anemoneprojectors– 13:05, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
That is true. Are you skipping over the Slater family tree for now until the article is fixed? Arjoccolenty (talk) 23:25, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
Yes, I am as the article is/was rubbish (was it recreated since I redirected it? not checked yet). I've started on a Slater tree, though, and even made some other family trees that aren't needed for articles. –anemoneprojectors– 13:28, 16 April 2015 (UTC)
Nope. Didn't even know it was deleted. How do we get the family trees on the pages? Arjoccolenty (talk) 20:02, 16 April 2015 (UTC)
I did put them back but they were reverted, so probably not needed especially with the text tree that's probably easier to understand. –anemoneprojectors– 08:48, 17 April 2015 (UTC)
So are we keeping the text tree and getting rid of the Genograms?Arjoccolenty (talk) 09:25, 17 April 2015 (UTC)
It certainly looks that way. The images are still on Commons though. See Talk:Branning family as well. –anemoneprojectors– 09:27, 17 April 2015 (UTC)
Does that mean you are gonna stop doing them altogether? Because I really like them and it would be a shame, but I guess if you have no need for them, you won't waste your time. Arjoccolenty (talk) 14:33, 17 April 2015 (UTC)
Well, while they're still on Commons they ought to be up to date. –anemoneprojectors– 20:46, 17 April 2015 (UTC)
HEY AP, just to add welcome back. U know it's now been over 9 years since we've edited together on here....Impressed and slightly ashamed all at the same time! GunGagdinMoan 19:33, 14 April 2015 (UTC)

While You Were Away.........................

@JuneGloom07: and I had loads of fun with a sock called User:Callumgrainger200! As they have created another account tonight, I thought I'd let you know so you can familiarise yourself with their edits.--5 albert square (talk) 22:31, 21 April 2015 (UTC)

Or just memorise the user name, because they keep using it for all their socks! lol - JuneGloom07 Talk 23:38, 21 April 2015 (UTC)
Not all June, you forgot User:Hollyoakslover2015 :p--5 albert square (talk) 03:36, 22 April 2015 (UTC)
Thanks, I'll see if I can spot this one in future! –anemoneprojectors– 08:11, 22 April 2015 (UTC)
@5 albert square: Ooh, are we sure that's Callumgrainger and not User:Eastenderseditor2015? What if they're the same person? - JuneGloom07 Talk 13:08, 22 April 2015 (UTC)
Maybe they're the same person! But for now I'll let you both decide until I'm more familiar with them... –anemoneprojectors
I wondered the same but when I raised an SPI check for Eastenderseditor2015, CheckUser didn't mention Callum.--5 albert square (talk) 13:13, 22 April 2015 (UTC)
Oh okay. Thought I was onto something there! - JuneGloom07 Talk 13:21, 22 April 2015 (UTC)
But it still could be, couldn't it? How similar are the edits? –anemoneprojectors– 13:22, 22 April 2015 (UTC)
@JuneGloom07 and 5 albert square: Is User:Soapinformation one? –anemoneprojectors– 09:26, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
I was right about Callumgrainger and Eastenderseditor2015 being the same person, a CU confirmed it last night. Soapinformation hasn't been mentioned, so I guess they CU didn't find a connection? - JuneGloom07 Talk 13:38, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
They've been around a while. Do the edits look similar? –anemoneprojectors– 13:41, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
There are a few that look similar, but then something like this occurs, which makes me think it isn't him. Callumgrainger probably added the stepgreatgrandaughter field, so I don't think he'd remove it. - JuneGloom07 Talk 14:08, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
To be honest I couldn't tell if they were making the same edits or opposite edits! If it's opposite, and there's no other evidence, then we have to give the benefit of the doubt :-) –anemoneprojectors– 14:10, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
There is a sock with a similar name, however I don't believe that the user Soapinformation is related. @Ponyo: did a really thorough check last night after finding that Callum and eastenderseditor 2015 were related. I would have thought that would have shown up then.--5 albert square (talk) 19:11, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
The only time additional socks show up via checkuser is if they are using the same IP(s) as the sock being checked. In this case, the sockmaster has a number of very large and rapidly cycling IP ranges at their disposal. A checkuser can be run in order to see if there is a technical correlation between two suspected accounts. It's not, however, very helpful in detecting unconnected accounts in this particular case as we're talking about hundreds of editors across tens of thousands of IP addresses. It's like trying to find 5 matching needles amongst of haystack sized pile of them. I've looked at Soapinformation; although the general geolocation is the same, the rest of the technical info doesn't align. It's closer to AngieWattsFan. --Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 20:35, 24 April 2015 (UTC)

No - we had hoped you'd know!--5 albert square (talk) 22:49, 7 May 2015 (UTC)
I wondered about Trueman, but now idea really. –anemoneprojectors– 22:58, 7 May 2015 (UTC)
I wondered Trueman as well but he didn't copy your talk page which is what he usually does. Plus some of those edits are about snooker and I'm not aware that Trueman is a snooker fan. June suggested Brianwazere but I don't think it's him either!--5 albert square (talk) 23:21, 7 May 2015 (UTC)
I don't think it's Brianwazere. The username User:The Famous Eastenders Bloke was what made me wonder, and the edits. But actually I don't thnk it's Trueman now. No idea then. –anemoneprojectors– 23:31, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

James Bye (actor)

Hi!

Do you think that this failes WP:ENT?

Apart from EastEnders, IMDB says that he has been in one episode of The Bill, one episode of Cemetery Junction, one episode of Hummingbird, two episodes of The Great Train Robbery and one episode of The Hooligan Factory. The Bill and Hummingbird cannot be reliably sourced other than IMDB. The first work I can find he did was The Bill in 2006 and in all honesty, for him to then star in another 5 series in 10 years is not a lot given that the majority of that work was only 1 episode each time. Should it be nominated for deletion?--5 albert square (talk) 05:10, 9 June 2015 (UTC)

I think it fails WP:ENT. He may have been in multiple TV shows, but he hasn't had significant roles in them, just EastEnders. –anemoneprojectors– 07:10, 9 June 2015 (UTC)

1) no need to ping me on my own talk page! 2) Actually all we know is she's called Jade, and there's a character in the credits called Jade Green. So I'll leave the "Green" off until we are sure it's the same person. Don't want any WP:OR! –anemoneprojectors– 08:15, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
Actually, I already updated the tree on my computer a while ago and did put Jade Green! Oh well. –anemoneprojectors– 08:26, 10 June 2015 (UTC)

Wishing on a Star

Shouldn't this be called List of Wishing on a Star cover versions or split up? I've never come across an article that tries to cover 7 different singles (several of which are clearly non-notable and/or unsourced). It is mightily confusing and I've never come across a similar Wikipedia article before.

I'm also mightily p*ssed off that you reverted all my edits, which were an attempt to make something positive out of the mess. Sionk (talk) 18:20, 21 June 2015 (UTC)

Okay, I see now there is similar treatment for You Are Not Alone and Heroes (David Bowie song). But all the same, if a single is clearly independently notable, it should have a separate article shouldn't it? I'm normally the person that goes around trying to zap articles about non-notable music releases ...but in some of these instances (for example relating to X-factor charidee singles) I think the articles should be split. Sionk (talk) 19:03, 21 June 2015 (UTC)

Okay, I've seen your reply at Talk:Wishing on a Star too. Sionk (talk) 19:17, 21 June 2015 (UTC)

@Sionk: I was writing up a reply to your first message but my internet connection is pretty bad tonight. I was going to give you a few other examples of the same thing (if I could stay online long enough to find them) but it looks like you already found a few. Maybe Torn (Ednaswap song) (that's a messy article!) or Without You (Badfinger song) are other examples. I don't know of any where it has been accepted that there should be two articles, one for an original and one for a cover, however notable. I'm sorry you feel pissed off, but I'm just trying to follow Wikipedia's guidelines. The article might be a mess, and they might not all be notable covers. Perhaps these versions should be just mentioned in the "other versions" section, instead of given their own sections. I think the talk page of the guideline might be the best place to discuss the splitting of a cover from its original, but I can see it being merged back by editors unaware of any discussion. I shall also see if you've replied on the article's talk page if my internet connection will allow me! –anemoneprojectors– 19:41, 21 June 2015 (UTC)

CS: Carla and Peter // ED: Charity and Declan

Its been 2 weeks since I last came here so I think its time because I could really need your expertise in this area. On "Coronation Street", has there been any proof at all that Carla and Peter got divorced? Being somebody's ex doesn't necessarily mean that you are divorced (as with Martin and Sonia) but every time I point that out, I get ignored and the edit to show they are still married (but separated) is reverted. Same with Charity and Declan on ED also. No proof that they are divorced even though Declan left town. I could really use some advice on what to do. I've asked several times for a reference but I get nothing. Arjoccolenty (talk) 11:11, 24 June 2015 (UTC)

I don't think it's ever been said that Carla and Peter got divorced. Isn't Peter returning soon? Maybe something will be mentioned then. But no, as far as anyone knows, Peter and Carla are married. I don't watch Emmerdale but if it's never been stated on the show and there's no evidence, then it's editors' assumptions and should be removed. –anemoneprojectors– 11:14, 24 June 2015 (UTC)

Watts family tree

I took down the Watts family tree for 2 reasons.

1) None of the other articles are gonna ever have family trees on them again.

2) Its incorrect. Carol Hanley is deceased and she and her husband had 3 children. Kristopher and Jonathan, as well as a daughter. And Sharon married Phil. I don't know how to fix it. Arjoccolenty (talk) 19:44, 31 July 2015 (UTC)

I reverted because there's no list of family members. There's someone on here who has all the trees in their userspace in that format, which is normally the person who updates that one. We should keep it until it's replaced with a list, like the others. –anemoneprojectors– 22:11, 31 July 2015 (UTC)
Who is this said person? Do you know? Arjoccolenty (talk) 22:19, 31 July 2015 (UTC)
I'm afraid I cannot remember, though their userpages are on my watchlist so when they update, I see that. But it doesn't matter. If we change it to the lists we have on the other pages, the Hanleys won't be included. –anemoneprojectors– 07:38, 1 August 2015 (UTC)

Faroukh Masood?

Since Natasha Butcher was an abortion with a name and Vivienne Hobbs was stillborn like this child will be, will it be given a name on Shabnam/Kush/Jade's profiles like Natasha was on her siblings? Arjoccolenty (talk) 20:05, 27 August 2015 (UTC)

If they name their son (which they should) then yes he will be - stillbirths (pregnancy lost after 20 weeks) are different to abortions or miscarriages (before 20 weeks). Natasha was aborted after 20 weeks, I believe Bianca gave birth to her and I remember them holding the child and saying their goodbyes. They did suggest Faroukh, don't know if they'll go with that. But the last name might (should?) be Kazemi. –anemoneprojectors– 07:12, 28 August 2015 (UTC)

AWB

Can I ask what AutoWikiBrowser is and how I can use it? SamLaws81101 (talk) 21:00, 6 September 2015 (UTC)

(talk page stalker) Hi, you can find everything you need to know about AWB here--5 albert square (talk) 21:15, 6 September 2015 (UTC)
Wherever it was you heard of AutoWikiBrowser would have had a link to Wikipedia:AutoWikiBrowser, which is the place to find out about it. Everything you want to know about on Wikipedia will have a page about it, whether it's a character in EastEnders you haven't heard of or a tool for editing Wikipedia itself. For your next query, why not try to find the answer yourself? If not then let me know what you've tried and I'll see if I can help - though I'm not always around and there are perhaps better places to ask where there is always someone to give a reply :-) –anemoneprojectors– 21:44, 6 September 2015 (UTC)

Linda Carter

Hi,

Is there any reason why we have Linda Carter (EastEnders) and Linda Carter?--5 albert square (talk) 22:49, 9 September 2015 (UTC)

Yes. Originally Linda Carter redirected to Lynda Carter, so a user created Linda Carter (EastEnders) to redirect to the list entry, and then I soon moved it to Linda Carter over the Lynda Carter redirect, so both redirected to the list entry. Since then, Linda Carter has become an independent article for the character. I've now updated Linda Carter (EastEnders) to redirect to Linda Carter, as I had forgotten it existed. –anemoneprojectors– 07:06, 10 September 2015 (UTC)

Hi AP, why did you revert the edit I made on Bradley Branning's page? He did interact with Liam and Tiffany and they are notable relatives. SamLaws81101 (talk) 15:44, 18 September 2015 (UTC)

And the edit on David Wicks SamLaws81101 (talk) 15:47, 18 September 2015 (UTC)

Just so I can be sure, what was the storyline with Bradley, Liam and Tiffany? Similarly with David and the relatives that were added there? –anemoneprojectors– 16:23, 18 September 2015 (UTC)
There wasn't exactly a storyline but they have interacted 😊 SamLaws81101 (talk) 14:13, 19 September 2015 (UTC)
I wouldn't really call it notable. If it was, they'd have already been included. It has not be notable (i.e. a storyline), not just meeting each other. –anemoneprojectors– 07:06, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
I understand SamLaws81101 (talk) 19:09, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
But why are Robbie and Billie on Derek's page if they only met once? SamLaws81101 (talk) 19:19, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
Sometimes characters are added when they've met rather than been part of a storyline together, and sometimes other editors miss these or give the benefit of the doubt or just can't remember what nearly 20 years ago in the show! –anemoneprojectors– 08:57, 21 September 2015 (UTC)

Characters

Hi AnemoneProjectors, How you made sense of my edit summary [2] I'll never know!  , Anyway thought I'd never say this but thanks for reverting, At the time I thought anything could change but looking at the images it would seem pretty obvious nothing's gonna change! so yeah thanks  , –Davey2010Talk 11:14, 2 October 2015 (UTC)

I figured that you meant "not aired yet". I was just thinking that often characters are announced as evil villains before they've even appeared, and it does look like this is a confirmed storyline, and in fact, other news outlets have confirmed the storyline, so for one of them to call the character evil seems fine to me  . Although yes, sometimes storylines do have to be pulled at the last moment due to current events... but it's very rare. –anemoneprojectors– 11:29, 2 October 2015 (UTC)

Jacqueline Jossa's return date?

I know that it is sometime in 2016 but is it gonna be a year like with Jake Wood's sabbatical or sooner? Do you know? Arjoccolenty (talk) 23:10, 5 October 2015 (UTC)

@Arjoccolenty: All I can answer is from the point of the law regarding maternity leave: "Eligible employees can take up to 52 weeks' maternity leave", meaning that Jossa is likely to return in or before February 2016, if she takes the full 52 weeks. Why do you ask? –anemoneprojectors– 07:09, 6 October 2015 (UTC)
I was just wondering since I thought she would be coming back when her on-screen father came back. Arjoccolenty (talk) 07:28, 6 October 2015 (UTC)
I don't think she would be taking maternity leave for that long, though it does depend on them coming up with storylines, so could take longer than February. I can't see it being next October though. But I haven't heard or read anything about when she might return, specifically. –anemoneprojectors– 13:04, 6 October 2015 (UTC)

Last month someone joined and took it upon themselves to mass change all of the Hollyoaks ibox pics without even asking the wikiproject for advice or opinion. Unfortunately this may have to wait until tomorrow, because the connection I am on now blocks all Wikipedia and Wikimedia images for some reason! I could do it, but wouldn't be able to see what I was doing! I can see what it is you want me to do, but I'd rather see the pictures to be sure, which I can definitely do tomorrow. –anemoneprojectors– 15:00, 13 September 2015 (UTC)

Hiya, again I'm gonna have to do this in the week because where I am at the weekend blocks Wikipedia images for some/no reason! I can't see any uploads they've made on 15 September, but they did several since then - are those the ones? –anemoneprojectors– 13:23, 4 October 2015 (UTC)
@Raintheone: I can do this today if you clarify which ones you want done that you can't do yourself! –anemoneprojectors– 13:35, 6 October 2015 (UTC)

Ben Mitchell adopted by Gavin

Hi,

I don't know if you know, but if you don't know and want to add a hidden comment to Ben Mitchell's page, I can tell you he was never adopted by Gavin. What happened was Ian got a letter from Kathy about changing Ben's surname from Mitchell to Sullivan and Phil found out from Ian (I remember Peggy saying it might be a good idea for when Ben starts school and he has the same surname as Kathy and Gavin). Clearly it didn't go ahead as he returned as Ben Mitchell and Ben was aware of Phil being his dad. All it was at the time was changing his surname.

Grangehilllover (talk) 20:07, 13 October 2015 (UTC)

Thanks, I thought it was unlikely that Gavin would have adopted Ben because I think Phil would have had to approve that, and he never would have. Besides, this was all at a time when Gavin wasn't a real character, and now he is, even if there was an adoption, the writers could easily have changed things, so I wanted a reliable source to say that Ben is currently adopted by Gavin. Also, sources are calling Gavin Ben's stepfather. –anemoneprojectors– 20:39, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
Phil from the off was against the idea and I remember him saying something like "I'm trying to find out my rights when my son is in South Africa", but like I said, it was never an adoption. As far as I know, Gavin was and is his stepfather. Grangehilllover (talk) 21:17, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
Well I'm glad it's all sorted. –anemoneprojectors– 09:18, 14 October 2015 (UTC)

Herts and Middlesex template

Thanks for picking that up. I created a separate article on Danemead yesterday but forgot to update the template. Dudley Miles (talk) 16:27, 19 October 2015 (UTC)

@Dudley Miles: I see. I only noticed because I saw the article for Broxbourne Woods and from there I clicked on Wormley-Hoddesdonpark Wood North, so say that Danemead was in bold, which seemed fine but then I saw you updated your userpage with the article on Danemead, so when I looked it that article I noticed the template! Oh, should the HMWT template come off the Wormley-Hoddesdonpark Wood North article now? Also, is there a template for Broxbourne Woods? –anemoneprojectors– 18:41, 19 October 2015 (UTC)
Thanks. I have removed the HMWT template from Wormley-Hoddesdonpark Wood North. Broxbourne Woods is the only NNR in Hertfordshire, so I do not see what template it could be in unless someone creates one for NNRs in England. Dudley Miles (talk) 18:56, 19 October 2015 (UTC)
You're right, there'd need to be a template of all NNRs for that one. –anemoneprojectors– 21:20, 19 October 2015 (UTC)
I have now nominated Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust at Wikipedia:Featured list candidates. Any comments gratefully received. Dudley Miles (talk) 19:43, 23 October 2015 (UTC)

Images

Hi,

I was wondering if it was possible you could protect 2 coronation street images (Faye Windass.jpg and Simon Barlow.jpg). The reason I ask is that someone keeps changing them. I updated Simon Barlow's image as Alexander Gain had changed and he looked different from his previous picture. Someone then changed it, but the image was too big, so I reverted it back. They left it for a few days, but then they uploaded a different image (which was slightly too big) and I reverted it back. I uploaded the image of Faye when I created her article and then they uploaded a not so clear image of Faye, so I reverted it back. Again, they left it for a few days before uploading a more or less similar one I had uploaded.

I sent them a message after the first time, but they have ignored me. I told them an image didn't need changing so frequently and really only needed changing if a character was recast or changed their or appearance or something. I'm not sure if their motive behind it ois with the best of intentions, too much enthusiasm or getting at me.

Thanks

Grangehilllover (talk) 02:39, 31 October 2015 (UTC)

@Grangehilllover: Actually, your images appear to be squashed, so although I deleted the previous version of Faye's image, I think the previous version is better. The same for Simon... But do let me know if it's just me. Half of the time, at the weekends, I can't see any images on Wikipedia! Maybe I'll have another look next week. –anemoneprojectors– 08:42, 31 October 2015 (UTC)

George Lawler

Thanks for sorting out the George Lawler article, I'm still learning the ropes here and will be sure to move pages in future rather than just change their subject. RugbyXIII (talk) 12:14, 18 November 2015 (UTC)

@RugbyXIII: That's ok. As it was specifically an EastEnders-related redirect, it was on my watchlist and, as an admin, I was able to do what I did. At WP:EASTENDERS, we like to keep all our redirects, so I'm often sorting things out like this. Often people think a redirect should just be replaced if a new article has the same title, but I'd prefer to see the redirect moved first.
