Speedy deletion nomination of Andywales1/sandbox/draft-RDCA edit

Hello Andywales1,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Andywales1/sandbox/draft-RDCA for deletion, because it seems to be a test. Did you know that the Wikipedia Sandbox is available for testing out edits?

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Sosthenes12 (talk) 18:34, 15 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi Andy!

The page should have been moved to your sandbox where you should be making your drafts. It seems like another editor already moved it. There should be a link to your sandbox on the top right part of your screen. Feel free to keep drafts and exeriment in your sandbox! Thanks!

Freeloading edit

Re this edit: if you are preparing this article for publication on Wikipedia, then it will need to conform to Wikipedia standards and the heading levels that I have set are the correct ones. If, as I fear, you not planning to publish then please work elsewhere. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:14, 15 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

  • Hi there, no I am definitely looking to publish these articles. If I am not complying with headings guidelines then please bear with me as I am new to this and want to ensure than I meet all the guidelines and I thought the sandbox was for me to iron out these things and get the article ready for publication. thanks andy — Preceding unsigned comment added by Andywales1 (talkcontribs) 19:22, 15 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Yes, of course the sandbox is the place for you to learn. That is why I was so diasappointed to see you do this edit - it looked to me like an obstinate refusal to learn a very simple matter. Another thing you need to learn is to read your contributions history. If you do so you will see that none of your edits have been deleted and what is more three of the pages have been copyedited to correct heading standards. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:04, 15 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Namespace edit

What is the difference between the Wikipedia: namespace and the (article) namespace? Please reply. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:30, 19 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi there, thank you for the message, I have messed up by moving the page to the wrong namespace. Wikipedia:namespace is for content associated with the Wikipedia project itself: information, policy, essays, processes, discussion, etc while Main namespace (no prefix): contains all encyclopedia articles such as I was trying to move. Sorry about that, rather poor. Andywales1 (talk) 08:59, 20 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Re your message on my user talk page: the preferred place for your reply was here. I did see it. Apologies for not acknowledging it. Pleased to see that you now know the difference. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 14:06, 20 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

No problem, thanks for your assistance. I can't promise I won't make any other mistakes but I will endeavor to improve going forward. Andywales1 (talk) 15:08, 20 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
