Autobiography edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but it appears you have written or added to an article about yourself, at Draft:Andre Martin. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Significant coverage edit

By resubmitting your draft, you give evidence that you are not understanding the problem. Wikipedia notability guidelines define what content should and should not be included in the encyclopedia. Only topics deemed to be notable are to be included. The specific guidelines for biographies require that the subject of the biography has been the topic of multiple instances of significant coverage in independent media. This means we need evidence that someone whom you do not know personally has taken the time to look at your body of work and then write about it and/or you. So far, you have provided no evidence of this. A bunch of links to books you have written, or apps you have published, are not at all helpful. I won't decline your draft again -- I'll leave that to another reviewer. But please read the relevant notability guidelines. Also, please be aware that since this is an autobiography, it will be given extra scrutiny, since it is a common problem at Wikipedia that people often write about themselves in an effort to promote themselves, which is prohibited. Copyright claims edit

I've removed the copyright claims under the Andre Martin Logo and the Crazy Pinguins image on your draft. Since you have uploaded these images to Wikimedia Commons, and have explicitly released them under the CC-by-SA-4.0 International licence, you can no longer claim copyright protection. The images are now freely available for anyone to use in any manner they please, as long as they attribute the images to you via the Commons page. If you wish to retain copyright protection of your images, you should not upload them to Commons. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 19:54, 1 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
