Hi André, welcome to Wikipedia, and to the Writing Wikipedia Articles course! I see you have already added your name to our course roster. This is excellent; however, we just added a couple of things to the instructions. Would you mind going back and adding the answers to these questions:

  • What are you hoping to get out of this course?
  • Have you ever edited an article on Wikipedia (or another wiki)?

Thanks, and I look forward to seeing you for the first class in a couple hours! -Pete (talk) 13:21, 19 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi Pete, I answered the questions - excuse my englisch ;) --Andre.Spang (talk) 13:53, 19 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

André, thank you! Your English is fine, I can understand you perfectly. I think perhaps you have created two accounts, and put both on the roster page -- currently the last two entries, since somebody has alphabetized the list. Was this a mistake, maybe? Which account do you prefer to keep? Maybe we should delete the entry for one of the accounts, so nobody gets confused and leaves a note in the wrong place? Also, I should say: if you prefer to work on articles on the German language Wikipedia, that should be fine. It will be more difficult for us to help you, but I can could reach out to some German language Wikipedians to help. Let me know if you prefer to work on German Wikipedia for your homework. -Pete (talk) 02:19, 20 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
Hi Pete, I am glad that my English works out fine. Nope, I didn't create two accounts. Now that it is alphabetized you can see that one entry belongs to me and the other belongs to my wife ANDREA. She also is taking part at the course.Working on the English Wikipedia is ok for us - we will do our best. --Andre.Spang (talk) 21:17, 20 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
Ah, I'm sorry, that was a silly mistake! Glad you are both on board. -Pete (talk) 18:53, 21 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Belated welcome to CommOER edit

Andre, I hope you enjoyed the class. Thanks for joining CommOER! A newsletter with more information is coming soon. Let me know on my talk page, or maybe the CommOER Talk page, if you'd now like to work on any OER articles in particular and I may be able to connect you to others with similar concerns. - Sara FB (talk) 16:04, 25 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
