Hello David,

  • I need to remind you a few facts regarding female singers in Iran after the Islamic revelation in 1979.
  • 1- Iranian female singers can not sing and perform in the public because of Islamic rules implemented in Iran. It means they can not be seen and heard in their home country. There is no media coverage for their artictic activities and they are absolutely boycotted by the media and the government.
  • 2- As an artist you must be in the highest level of skills and regnation to have your music aired by BBC. Tahere Falahati's performances have been aired by BBC in May 2014 and March 2015.
  • 3- CBC ( Canaidian Brodcasting Corporation) has invited Tahere to perform in the CBC studios twice during 2012.Also there were many radio and TV programs produced and aired for days by CBC about her.
  • 4- Her Music was aired by many Iranian TV networks (outside of Iran) for months and that is why she got interview by VOA ( Voice of America) and DW ( Voice of Germany). I am sure these reliable media just don't interview somebody because that person ask them to do it.
  • 5- I have seen some articles about some Iranian artists in the Wikipedia, I believe if those articles' references are not weaker than my references they are not stronger.
  • I believe my references are reliable and well known and match with the Wikipedia's creteria. I would like to present this kind of artists to the world and I believe this is what Wikipedia is all about.
  • I would like to ask you to reconsider my article with the mentioned facts and help me to be a part of the good things that Wikipedia offers to people.
  • Thank you,
