Appropriate sources edit

Hi and thanks for your edit, but I'm afraid I've removed it. Several reasons, the first being that it was to a mirror copy of Wikipedia, and we don't use Wikipedia or its mirrors as references. You might want to read WP:RS and WP:Verify to see what we expect from sources. It was also in the wrong place and when you cite a source, you need to use the citing format already in use. WP:Cite is the place to start. Don't get discouraged, we all have edits removed. Thanks. Dougweller (talk) 11:17, 28 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Update regarding copyright concern edit

Since we do not yet have verification of permission by the processes set out above and sufficient time has passed since the placement of the notice, the article has been deleted for copyright concerns. This deletion is not necessarily permanent. If you have already sent a letter to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the Creative Commons Attribution/Share-Alike License (CC-BY-SA) and GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) (if you are not the copyright holder or have co-authored the material, release under CC-BY-SA-compatible license alone is sufficient), the article will be restored when that letter is received and processed by the Wikimedia Communications committee. Likewise, if you have not yet sent a letter, you still may (or resend it, if you believe your original may have been lost), and the article will be restored when that letter is received and processed.

As Wikipedia does not require proof of identity on account creation, it is essential that we receive external proof of authorization in order to ensure that we remain compliant with US Copyright law. It is also essential that we verify that copyright holders understand the extent of the release they are authorizing, in that our licenses permit modification and reuse in any forum, even commercial publication, as long as authorship credit is maintained and future copies are compatibly licensed.

Please note that once permission is verified, the material may be evaluated and altered to meet Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Although we appreciate donations, we cannot guarantee that material donated will be retained.

Thank you. MLauba (Talk) 08:35, 15 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Ali Hassanzadeh. I recently looked up your article on the Austrian Army's role in the reformation of the Persian Army. I wanted to congratulate you on writing about such a great subject. Not only is it intriguing because of its historical background, but it is also interesting to know of military collaborations between the Middle-Eastern and European nation. I did find some grammatical errors, which I have taken the liberty to rectify. I just wanted to let you know. In my eagerness to achieve grammatical improvement, I might have, quite unknowingly, distorted historical facts or your own unique take on the subject. Please let me know wherever I have made such a mistake.
Kindest Regards

Disambiguation link notification for January 7 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Austro-Hungarian Military Mission in Persia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Maximilian I (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). El Al destinations edit

Given that the destination list is not provided in a chronological fashion, there's no point in placing an outdated version of any flag. I therefore undid your last two edits ([1] and [2]). Perhaps you may want to explain yourself regarding the matter, since you provided no edit summaries.--Jetstreamer Talk 13:48, 10 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of List of travellers to Iran edit

The article List of travellers to Iran has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Nearly empty list with unclear scope and no navigational or encyclopedic purpose

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
