Copa del Rey edit

Hi. Firstly, thank you for the congratulations. It was the best game I've seen in Gijón for years.

About the Cup articles, now really I haven't got enough time for adding articles but I can give you a couple of good sources for that:

  • [1] All the newspapers in Mundo Deportivo's history. So, consult the info at the next day the game is played.
  • [2] Bdfutbol is the best Spanish database. It is adding information everyday but, for the Cup results, currently they only have the info since the 90's.

Take care. Greetings. Asturkian (talk) 16:18, 28 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much, I already know this sources, and I am also friend with the guy who works to improve BDFutbol. He is going to add soon more information about Copa del Rey, at the next update. Also a good source is :

  • [3] But no information about goalscorers. Just the all time results.

This is my work recently : Copa del Rey Topscorers and Copa del Rey Topscorers by Season, two lists you can not find it anywhere on the internet. If you can tell me your opinion please and have any idea how to improve it, to be accepted by wikipedia. Or if you know more information about it. (for example a website with your favorite team Sporting Gijón where we can find the topscorers) It takes just 5 minutes. Thank you. Alexiulian25 (talk) 16:37, 28 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

I guess Copa Del Rey top scorers has little chance to be kept on wikipedia. It is probably seen as a junk stats page by the admins. With so many possible stats to go by, I can understand their attitude. Anyhow, I am not thinking I will go into it for now.

Also the current link for those pages is [4] I guess the other page has a similar link or something, Thanks anyway Jazi Zilber (talk) 21:12, 7 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

U17 gulf cup of nations edit

I'm currently on holiday, why don't you update it? It's not just my job. Druryfire (talk) 16:44, 31 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

I do not know sources for Golf teams, I mainly edit European football, if you have time when you come back from holiday, are 2 seasons missing. Thank you!Alexiulian25 (talk) 16:47, 31 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Of course I will edit the articles, it's a bit frustrating that no one else in the world wants to edit the articles. I don't think 2014 took place in the end. I will have to revisit. Druryfire (talk) 06:10, 2 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

CSM Suceava edit

As promised, I have worked a bit on the draft. It definitely should sound a lot more encyclopaedic now, however, a few more sources (preferably in English, just in case the folks at Draft Review are a bit picky) on things like the name change and perhaps the stadium and the dissolution date would be very handy. Plus, if they still want to mingle about GNG, point them to WP:NFOOTY. This piece is only an essay and therefore non-binding, but should nevertheless demonstrate that the club meets WP:N in the eyes of the project.

One more thing – if the article is finallz given the green light, please remove the comment brackets around the categories at the bottom of the page. Furthermore, it might probably be an idea to collect current and former clubs of the highest Romanian league in a separate navigation box in order to improve the connections to other articles. But let's discuss this at a later point. – Soccer-holicI hear voices in my head... 16:25, 5 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Fastest goals edit

Hi, oops forgot cannot use wiki pages as refs thanks for deleting. Where football is concerned I'm only really interested in Notts County of the English football league, and have fastest goals on my watchlist as a former Notts player is listed. By chance I viewed the 5 sec video of Ian Brodie's goal and noticed the films timing did not start at kick off so I researched further and edited. --palmiped |  Talk  15:59, 23 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

It can`t be 5 seconds, if you time the moment when they kick off till the goal is scored is 11-12 seconds, to score a goal in 5 seconds you need to kick the ball to the goal from the beginning...I think we should let Ian Bogie with 12 seconds.Alexiulian25 (talk) 16:06, 23 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Can you help by creating a page for Barrie Jones, an older player of Notts County. Not the welsh player. Thank you.Alexiulian25 (talk) 16:09, 23 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Mike1901. I noticed that you recently removed some content from IAR Brașov without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I have restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Invitation edit

Thanks for the invitation to contribute to Romanian Football Cupa României seasons. But unfortunately I know next to nothing about the subject. Still thanks for the offer. All the best to you werldwayd (talk) 00:02, 12 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Invitation edit

Hello. I would be happy to help add some information on Romanian football, but I can only use online sources that I can translate to English (most of which are not archived). I'm unfortunately very busy at the moment, but will help when I can. Best regards. Jogurney (talk) 19:34, 12 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Invitation edit

I would be happy to help add some information on Romanian football, but I am really not familiar with the subject. I am a Romanian-American, live in the United States and have practically no connections with the Romanian football comunity. Afil (talk) 20:10, 15 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

You can learn about it, and it is not hard to edit, and I also can correct you if you have mistakes. First Lesson : Open this page Liga II - is the Romanian second league, the page was updated by me. There you find a table, and in the column of years are the editions who have been played. Open the first one 1934–35 Divizia B and this page will be your model for the next edition you have to create 1935–36 Divizia B. References : [[9]] - a list with all the editions - just Copy Paste the standings from that year into wikipedia and put them in tables. Another same Reference : [[10]] - scroll down and you will find all the years. That is all we have to do. Did you understand ?

At the moment I am editing Cupa Romaniei seasons, but is more complicated, because is in Cup system format. Thank you !--Alexiulian25 (talk) 20:26, 15 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Editing previous seasons in Egyptian football edit

Hello Alexiulian25, I'm really happy that you're interested in Egyptian football, i'm currently focusing on my studies so i won't be able to edit the previous seasons, but if you want to help you can take a look at the 2014–15 Egyptian Premier League and make it a model for the previous seasons, i'll try to edit these seasons at my spare time. By the way you asked about my favorite team, it's Al Ittihad of Alexandria. Feel free to ask me anything and i'll most likely reply. Ben5218 (talk) 22:59, 15 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Honours edit

Hello Alex. A few tips for editing the honours section of club articles:

  1. Second tier is the correct capitalisation, not "Second Tier".
  2. Cup winning seasons should still be 2015–16, not 2016 (unless it's a one-off game like the Super Cup)
  3. League wins should be marked as "Champions" not "Winners" (the latter is for cups).

Cheers. Number 57 20:06, 19 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi Alex. I'm afraid the Faur București article was a one-off - I was just trying to rescue it, and I don't really have much interest in Romanian football. I tend to concentrate on elections these days, with some work on Scottish football. The rest is just stuff that pops up on my watchlist. Thanks for the invite though. Cheers, Number 57 20:47, 19 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

2007–08 Liga II edit

I've changed the tables for you. Please tell me, though - I noticed several cases on the original where teams with a lower goal difference were for some reason listed higher than teams with a better GD. Every source I was able to find suggested that this was wrong, but I'm not an expert on Romanian football so there could be a rule I don't know about for ranking teams. Is there any reason they were in the "wrong" order? I've changed them to what I thought was correct, but please change this back if there's a reason why they were in the order they were in. Falastur2 Talk 23:12, 19 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

I didn't think head to head was in use as far back as 2007-08? I'll have to see whether I can do the others - it won't be tonight as I need to get some sleep now. Maybe tomorrow. Falastur2 Talk 23:40, 19 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
On further investigation, seems you're right about the head to head. I've now also done 2008-09. I'll have to do 2006-07 over the weekend, when I get another chance - it's taking a good hour per page and I only have so much time available.
Thanks for the congrats, by the way, although it's the team who deserve it, not me. We didn't exactly play well but I guess you have to take what you can get. I have been to the stadium, by the way, yes - I try to get to at least 3 games a season, but as I live on the other side of the country it's not easy for me (or cheap). I hope to go to another game in November or December, but I need to see when I'm free to do so. Falastur2 Talk 22:59, 22 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

List of Real Madrid C.F. seasons edit

Sorry, but I don't have enough knowledge about Real Madrid to be of much help in this situation, and I don't conduct any Wikipedia business on e-mail. I recommend that you contact the Football WikiProject, which should have plenty of editors interested in the accuracy of the list. If you have reliable sources backing up your match lists, you could also edit the article yourself, adding a reference to the source(s) you have. Giants2008 (Talk) 23:14, 23 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Gulf Club Championship edit

Well, i'll be trying to make it look like this page then List of Asian Club Championship and AFC Champions League finals Druryfire (talk) 19:05, 1 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

I'm not entirely sure why it's so hard to get information for this competition, especially 1995, it wasn't that long ago! I think 1995 shows just how low priority it was. The earlier editions I believe also doubled up as AFC Champions League group stages, for example this edition 1989–90 Asian Club Championship. These could be written into the article to give the reader some back ground history. Also somewhere we need to write about the decline, such as the current teams are entering are not champions in any way.

It's very hard finding any information for this tournament at all!! Druryfire (talk) 20:44, 2 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Bulgarian Cup edit

I think it could just do with 1 master list of cups (regardless of the name) and then the secondary competitions should be kept distinct. Don't think they necessarily need their own page really, but you could do if you like. Koncorde (talk) 22:46, 2 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

I don't deny that you are (or the article is) right, I just wondered if we could get a source to strengthen the article. I've tried but there is very little available, and almost nothing in English. Koncorde (talk) 01:18, 4 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

We need someone from Bulgaria to look for that source, I can help just with Romanian sources.--Alexiulian25 (talk) 07:41, 4 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi. There is not so much info about this team as this was not very important and has not any connection with Sporting Gijón or Gijón Industrial. The only thing you can say is that played two times the National Cup and several times the Regional Championship of Asturias.
