Speedy deletion of Pablo Vargas Lugo edit

A tag has been placed on Pablo Vargas Lugo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Dædαlus T@lk\quick link 20:57, 17 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

In response to both your questions, in order: First, check WP:CSD for articles that would fall under deletion. Second, please see WP:CITE. Third, you cannot find your articles again. Once they are deleted, they are gone. If you wish to make said article again, and have it stay while you work on it, I recomend you make it on a subpage of your userspace, such as Your sandbox. No one will delete things made here, as it is in your userspace. I technically 'created' that space for you just by making the link. Once you visit it, it will ask you to make it or something, and you can proceed from there.Dædαlus T@lk\quick link 22:31, 17 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 22:25, 17 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Gabriel Acevedo Velarde edit

Re your message: To establish his notability, you would need to provide references to coverage of him or his artworks from reliable sources. For example, has he been written about in a major art magazine or national news source? Has his artwork been featured at a major gallery? If you can provide that information in the article, it is more likely that an article about him will remain on Wikipedia. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 03:35, 18 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Re your message: I see. Do you have any links that can verify that exhibited at these locations? It would help considerably if you can provide links to establish their notability. If you have such links, I can restore the articles so that you can work on them again. You might also want to stop by Wikipedia:WikiProject Visual arts, which is a coordinating place for editors interested in visual arts articles. Somebody there might be able to help you expand the articles enough so that notability is established. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 00:46, 19 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
