Your first article edit

Wouldn't you know - there was a pre-existing article, Small office/home office, which is about the same concept as your first article, Homesourcing. I've merge tagged both articles. As an author this should be a piece of cake for you. Eh?  ;-) --hydnjo talk 13:11, 12 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Also, since you're kind of new here (I think) you should read Wikipedia:Merging and moving pages for some tips about how to and Wikipedia:Disambiguation for tips about leaving footprints in case someone looking for Home-office (your subject matter) ends up as I did today at Home Office (not your subject matter). I've just placed a notice at the top of both of those "offices" referring one to the other. Happy editing, --hydnjo talk 13:26, 12 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Response edit

Homesourcing does have applications for small businesses. That is because a person can generate income via homesourcing. However, this article that I've written isn't really geared toward homesourcing. It is likely to be of more interest to companies with 10 ore more employees, and has major interest for people associated with large companies.

I would be more comfortable writing a second article for the SOHO merge. I'll make that change within a day. Please take a look at it and give me your impressions. Alan Jordan 15:43, 12 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

With the edits in both articles and the inter-referencing I think the distinctions between the two articles are more obvious. Feel free to edit the Small office/home office as needed to cover SOHO but I don't think much more is needed, I'll leave that up to you. Please feel free to contact me on my talk page if you think I can help with anything. hydnjo talk 16:35, 12 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
You may want to review WP:MOS. For example, the first use of the article title should be bolded (the markup is '''Homesourcing'''). Thereafter, it is not bolded nor do I think that it should be capitalized but you can decide otherwise. hydnjo talk 16:56, 12 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Wiki markup edit

I should have provided this Wikipedia:How to edit a page link earlier. If you want to use markup without executing then surround with (for example four tildes) <nowiki>~~~~</nowiki> doesnt execute but at the end of this message it will.  :-) hydnjo talk
