Welcome edit

Hello, Alan Adler, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!

FYI, autobiographies are sort of discouraged here, as is creating articles about our inventions. See also WP:AUTO.

P.S. Great toy! I have one on the woods somewhere. --Snargle 04:30, 21 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Articles for deletion nomination of Aerobie Megatop edit

I have nominated Aerobie Megatop, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Aerobie Megatop. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

A cheeseburger for you! edit

I offer you a big, fat cheeseburger (and if you're vegetarian, or don't like 'em, you can substitute to your heart's content--there are no limits on virtual desire) in gratitude for your invention of the aerobie.

The pleasure I have gotten from that simple ring that flies so straight and true, and is so eminently controllable, is immense. (OK, if only they would float--I come from a watery country and have lost at least three.) I still remember the joy I felt when I mastered the forehand... Thank you very much.
