Edit summary wording edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page Peter Jackson has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits. ~

Hello, Akrosley, and thanks for your initial efforts here. Please avoid leaving edit summaries such as "fixed grammatical error" when you are simply replacing one adjective with another. You may also want to consult the guidance at WP:WORDS. Thanks in advance for considering these suggestions. Eric talk 16:09, 7 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Review for Architectural History Wiki assignment

I chose to review the article Mecca Flats, which was edited by user Akrosley. After being edited, I can see that the article has more information about the history of the apartment complex and the people involved in its ownership. The historical information that was added provides a good context to understanding the building as well as the rest of the article; however, I think that the beginning of the article could have been restructured into more of an overview/introduction, or have some information be put into the history section for more clarity. Furthermore, I saw that there was also information added on the preservation efforts that took place before the building was demolished. The wiki editor made significant contributions to the page by adding new sections about the design and inspired works of the Mecca Flats, and the information provided is written in a non biased and professional style that fits the content, making it easy to read and to understand. In addition, the user fixed minor words and grammar issues that improves the readability of the article overall. The article seems to have been edited with reliable sources and links/references have been placed at the appropriate places throughout the text. Overall, I think this wiki editor did a great job at adding to and improving a very basic article, and provides accurate and interesting information that is relevant to the topic, and that makes the article much more complete.
