Yes you absolutely made a mistake. Akathisia is caused by all psychiatric medications. Nearly every paper cited on the page states it. AkathisiaInformation (talk) 10:53, 21 July 2020 (UTC)

Hello, I reverted your edit to Akathisia because you added information without a citation that is already present at multiple other points in that article. If you'd like to discuss organization of the article, please feel free to WP:BEBOLD and edit the organization yourself or visit the talk page at Talk:Akathisia to discuss it with other editors and seek assistance/input. Please don't duplicate information multiple times in an article unnecessarily though just because it's not in the section you want it - it's better to move information to the best section for it instead of just putting it in multiple times. - I noticed you've now removed a bunch of information that's reliably sourced - if you're organizing the article, either place the code {{inuse}} at the top of the page while you are editing (but make sure you replace all information in appropriate sections), or alternatively, you can copy the content of the page to your sandbox at User:AkathisiaInformation/sandbox by clicking "Edit" or "Edit source", copying, then creating your sandbox. If you do this, make sure to include a link such as [[Special:History/Akathisia]] to comply with copyright requirements. You can then work on the article in your sandbox, and copy your edits to the main article when you are done with them. - The first paragraph does not need to include that. Wikipedia does not need anything - decisions here are based on consensus of editors. Please see MOS:FIRST for the requirements for the first paragraph. Discussions of specific co-morbidities or complications of the disease are not in line with the "non-specificity" requirement of that guideline. You'll note that suicidal ideation is already heavily discussed in the second paragraph of the lead section - where that information belongs. If you wish to override the guideline, you must obtain consensus from other editors to do so on the talk page of the article, by providing your reasoning as to why it is important to ignore the standards in this case. @AkathisiaInformation: I've been discussing with you and have told you what you need to do, yet you continue to revert and remove sourced content from the article while we are discussing. If you continue this, you are likely to be blocked from editing. Wikipedia is a collaborative project and you MUST discuss with other editors before making large changes like this when they are controversial. You cannot edit war (repeatedly make the changes) just to get your preferred outcome - this is unacceptable and will get you blocked. Managing a conflict of interest edit

Removing a paragraph edit
The last paragraph under “signs and symptoms” should be removed as it is completely misleading and could contribute to clinicians misunderstanding the suicidality associated with akathisia. Anyone who gets akathisia becomes suicidal, there is no reason to promote the idea that it is simply a worsening of pre-existing suicidality. AkathisiaInformation (talk) 19:57, 21 July 2020 (UTC)
- You need to post this on Talk:Akathisia and wait for other editors to respond to you. You furthermore need to provide direct, specific citations to WP:RS to support your change, and describe why an article in the journal Pharmacopsychiatry is not reliable, as well as the two other journal articles that paragraph is cited to. You do not get to use your own personal understanding/opinion of the subject on Wikipedia - you must find reliable sources to cite your claims to. In the event of discrepancies, either both viewpoints will be included (with attribution), or a judgement will be made based on how common each viewpoint is. - Until those studies are done, we go based off of what’s published in reliable journals. Wikipedia does not care what you think the “truth” is - we care what is verifiable to reliable sources. If the reliable sources are wrong, Wikipedia will be too. Wikipedia is not here to do research or publish original thought - it is a compendium of thoughts already published and vetted elsewhere. It sounds like you are not here to build an encyclopedia, but to push your viewpoint, which again is likely to end up with you getting blocked if you continue. I suggest you take a step away from Akathisia and related articles if you wish to continue editing Wikipedia, as it’s clear you are too biased to edit them in a neutral way according to Wikipedia’s policies. - @AkathisiaInformation: And I'm not working for any drug company either, but I am an administrator and I am able to prevent you from editing if I feel it protects the encyclopedia. You may have not yet understood this, but Wikipedia is built by summarising what has been published in the best quality, reliable sources on a topic. That means in simplistic terms that you must not remove content that has a reliable source unless you are replacing it with content coming from a more up-to-date, equally reliable source. It also means that any new content that you add is accompanied by a reference to the source that you summarised. For now, I suggest you make use of the discussion on the talk page to share your sources with the other editors there, who will be willing to discuss them and help you to evaluate their value to the article. --RexxS (talk) 02:09, 22 July 2020 (UTC)
