IFEX edit

A couple of notes about your recent work concerning International Freedom of Expression Exchange (IFEX):

  1. I have removed your speedy deletion tag from IFEX. This is not the proper response to the issue at hand. The page in question is a legitimate disambiguation page; if you wish to create a new page with that title, you will need to create it with a disambiguation phrase (such as IFEX (organization)).
  2. At the International Freedom of Expression Exchange page, you have written that the organization is now IFEX, with the original name being International Freedom of Expression Exchange. However, the organization's website still uses the full name, with the acronym used only for convenience. So, I cannot see that there is any official name change. If there has been, please provide a citation for that. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 18:38, 12 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Non-free rationale for File:IDEI logo.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:IDEI logo.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NtheP (talk) 15:55, 17 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

A cheeseburger for you! edit

Thanks for your update to Mae Azango, and your work on other press freedom articles! This is an area I'm very interested in as well, so if there's ever any way I can lend a hand, drop me a line. (This isn't just any ordinary cheeseburger, by the way; I picked it up for you from the US restaurant Fuddruckers, where I just had lunch: "The World's Greatest Hamburgers".) File:CJFE logo.jpg missing description details edit

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as:

is missing a description and/or other details on its image description page. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors make better use of the image, and it will be more informative to readers.

If the information is not provided, the image may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

If you have any questions, please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Theo's Little Bot (error?) 08:57, 14 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:IDEI logo.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:IDEI logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:48, 20 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
