Non-aesthetic changes made from the Wikiproject edit

Just noting some differences between the content in my user space and what is presently found at the wikiproject. I have compiled this after the fact so I may have missed some details. A lot of these changes I considered uncontroversial, but can appreciate that this might not be the case for all of them. I would be happy to return to the original wording anything here and debate further on the Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Rugby union page if necessary. AIRcorn (talk) 08:10, 26 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Reworded Scope of project
- Added updating to maintaining and creating
- Moved articles related to rugby union to top
- Shortened Portal:Rugby Union and Current sports events up-to-date for international matches and provincial competitions to the rugby union portal
- Split current sports events ... to it's own line
- Removed current sports events and (As usually there are newspaper obituaries written when a rugbian dies, it is also an opportunity to write up and improve the Wikipedia article on that player.) from Recent Deaths line
- Removed coordinate efforts and peer review articles, expand the biographies on every man who has played Test rugby (all players who have played in at least one Test).Allblacks.com maintains bios on every All Black, increase the number of well-written rugby union-related articles and expand and improve other rugby union-related articles as they are redundant with creating, maintaining and updating articles related to rugby union.

added Statistics and Featured Content sections (updated featured content and shortened History of rugby union matches between All Blacks and France to France vs New Zealand to keep it in proportion.

Had previously added an introduction and separated active from inactive (using a year with no contributions as a cut off point)[2] - NB the intro says 6 months without working on a Rugby Union topic, but that should probably be agreed upon (it was adapted from another wikiproject that used three months) before being enforced.
