A belated welcome! edit

The welcome may be belated, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Ahkei! I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may still benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

If you don't already know, you should sign your posts on talk pages by using four tildes (~~~~) to insert your username and the date.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Again, welcome! FourPaws (talk) 14:25, 28 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Feel free to share those cookies with me, and have a glass of milk to wash it down!
Thanks for the warm welcome, FourPaws! I'll look into the links you provided and the projects you suggested. This has a pretty steep learning curve, but hopefully you'll see me around more in the future! Ahkei (talk) 15:10, 28 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Guild of Copy Editors c/e drive edit

Hi Ahkei, welcome to Wikipedia and the Guild of Copy Editors (GOCE). I'm a GOCE coordinator and I noticed you removed your sub-section at our current copy-edit drive. Regarding your edit summary, drives aren't just for GOCE Requests; you can claim credit for any extensive c/e you've done during the event, and a 50% word-count bonus for copy-editing articles from the oldest months in our backlog. Feel free to restore your subsection if you wish; thanks for your interest in the GOCE. Good luck and cheers, Baffle☿gab 23:34, 28 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Reliable sources edit

Your effort to provide a source for the Robin White entry on December 10 is commendable, but please be sure that your sources are reliable. That particular source is clearly WP:USERG. "The Trading Card Database is an archive of trading cards and all things trading card related. It is maintained via crowdsourcing whereby visitors like yourself pitch in to add items..."[1] Toddst1 (talk) 17:50, 31 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message edit

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:54, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
