ARI edit

You might want to look at what's going on at Ayn Rand Institute. ThAtSo 16:29, 3 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for responding. At the time, what I hoped you might look at was the controversy over the "Context" section, but that's kind of died down. I just wanted to make sure that people reading about the ARI had some clue that it's not the first or only "official" Objectivist organization, which is the impression I was given when I was first introduced to Rand's books. Two people kept deleting that section and wouldn't stop until others got involved, but a compromise of sorts has been reached.

The political issues you brought up are interesting and insightful. As far as I can tell, the Objectivist view of foreign policy is the same as the Libertarian view, except for the special case of Israel. What's funny is that I mentioned this to some fellow Objectivists and was accused of being a "self-hating Jew". This is particularly weird since I'm a life-long atheist who doesn't even identify as Jewish. Not sure what I can say about that! ThAtSo 01:25, 10 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
