Speedy deletion nomination of Afterlife Sessions

edit

Hello Afterlifesessions,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Afterlife Sessions for deletion, because it seems to be an promotion, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, YuMaNuMa Contrib 01:51, 14 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Afterlife Sessions, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an acceptable page. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this page is not blatant advertising,  . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You are welcome to edit the page to fix this problem, but please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. As well as removing promotional phrasing, it helps to add factual encyclopaedic information to the page, and add citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the page will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Alpedio (talk) 01:53, 14 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Afterlife Sessions

edit

Hello, Afterlifesessions. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Afterlife Sessions, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

Although your article, now does not violate WP:NPOV guidelines from the looks of it, it still fails to meet notability guidelines due to the lack of references. Articles that are not notable are deleted under Wikipedia's deletion policy. YuMaNuMa Contrib 02:20, 14 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Username

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. I saw that you edited or created Afterlife Sessions, and I noticed that the username you have chosen, "Afterlifesessions", seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of something other than yourself. Please note that you may not edit on behalf of a company, group, institution, product, or website, and Wikipedia does not allow usernames that are promotional or have the appearance of shared use. If you are willing to use a personal account, please take a moment to create a new account or request a username change that represents only yourself as an individual. You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and remember that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. --Drm310 (talk) 03:50, 14 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Deletion discussion about Afterlife Sessions

edit

Hello, Afterlifesessions,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Afterlife Sessions should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Afterlife Sessions .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks, YuMaNuMa Contrib 05:36, 14 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Are you seriously trying to ruin my day? Just let it pass! Please!

No one is trying to to ruin your day and you are not being treated unfairly; begging for mercy doesn't address the issues raised. You are being subjected to the same standards that any other Wikipedia editor is. You have an obvious conflict of interest and others have raised legimate objections to the article you wrote. Do not delete articles for deletion templates without allowing the process to run its course. In the meantime, I strongly recommend you read the plain and simple conflict of interest guide so that you understand what kind of contributions are permitted and the standards they must meet. Thanks. --Drm310 (talk) 06:56, 14 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy.  You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username doesn't represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. If you prefer to be unblocked for the purpose of changing your username to a username which complies with our username policy, so that your contributions with this username are recorded as contributions of your new username and rather than creating a new account, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice instead. Thank you. -- Ed (Edgar181) 13:11, 14 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
