the fate of LZ37

Hi On the page it says that the fate of Lz37 was that it was shot down on 1st February 1916. can anyone tell me where this came from as I would have assumed that from the article that the date of its destruction would have been June 7th 1915 Many thanks kinnabaluKinnabalu (talk) 17:31, 15 September 2014 (UTC)

Rhoda Holmes Nicholls

Hi,

Thanks for your interest in the Rhoda Holmes Nicholls article. I removed the Encyclopedia Britannica source because: 1) It's a tertiary source, which should be avoided if there's a reliable secondary source, 2) the article had a reliable secondary source for her death information. See RSN Archive 115 - Is Encyclopedia a reliable source?.

If you have any questions about this, though, please feel free to respond here and I'll see it.

Thanks!--CaroleHenson (talk) 17:16, 16 September 2014 (UTC)

@CaroleHenson:

Hi. I follow your analysis 99.9% ;-). The discussion may then shift to assess wheter the obscure "Kokomo Tribune" is more reliable the Britannica.com. One may also argue that I am citing a website and not an encyclopedia stricto senso. This is the reason I added the authority control from the Library of Congress, which says the following
Sources: found: Rhoda Holmes Nicholls, c2006: cover (Rhoda Holmes Nicholls) p. 6 (b. March 28, 1854 in Coventry, Warwickshire, England) p. 26 (d. September 7, 1930)
A more reliable source would then be imho: Price, Khathryn (2006). Rhoda Holmes Nicholls. Williamstown, Mass: Williams College Museum of Art. ISBN 091369729X. p. 6 and p. 26 This happens to be the catalog of the exhibition you already cited "Rhoda Holmes Nicholls". Williams College Museum of Art. Retrieved September 1, 2014.

Ancient Roman architecture references

Thanks for working on these references for us, it is a part of the improvement project that I struggle with. I really appreciate your contributions, especially in an area that is so important, but often overlooked. --NickPenguin(contribs) 14:54, 21 September 2014 (UTC)

You're welcome. --Alberto Fernández Fernández (talk) 14:58, 21 September 2014 (UTC)
