January 2013 edit

Hello, I'm Dawnseeker2000. I wanted to let you know that I removed an external link you added to the page 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami, because it seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Disambiguation link notification for January 29 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of twin towns and sister cities in Indonesia, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Lismore and Newcastle (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm ParksTrailer. I noticed that you made a change to an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so!   Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Pakistan Army. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. All the source you provided says is that Pakistan "reportedly" is considering the Lazar 2, which is very far from the vehicle being in service in Pakistan, or Pakistan "confirming" anything, as you claimed. So you're guilty of not only adding improperly sourced material but also deliberately misrepresenting what the sources say. Don't do it again! Thomas.W talk to me 13:35, 3 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Modern equipment and uniform of the Pakistan Army, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. October 2013 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in HJ-8, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. There should be no flags in the infobox according to both WP:INFOBOXFLAG and current practise on weapons-related articles. Thomas.W talk to me 11:53, 7 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

November 2013 edit

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Boeing AH-64 Apache. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. -Fnlayson (talk) 21:10, 9 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Your addition of links/references on Equipment of the Finnish Army and Patria AMV edit

Hello. I have reverted your addition of links to a page on www.armyrecognition.com on those two articles since the page you added is about the older Sisu XA-180, and not the newer Patria AMV, and thus totally irrelevant. So next time please make sure that the links/references you add are relevant to the articles you add them to. Thomas.W talk to me 11:51, 25 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Qatar Airways does not have an edit summary. Please make sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

The edit summary appears in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! Jetstreamer Talk 13:43, 27 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
