Hello Ytoyoda, I want to ask you one simple question, How we can find out that image of WWF wrestlers used on Flickr is free for use of commons ??? Isn't most of their images free 2402:8100:2161:DAF1:1C1:19A5:6290:A447 (talk) 00:59, 18 July 2021 (UTC)
- I don't know if it's true that most of their images are free. If I had to guess, I'd say most photographs on Flickr are copyrighted or have some kind of restriction against commercial or derivative use, so they can't be used on Commons. You want to look for images that are licensed CC-BY, CC-BY-SA or CC-Zero. A quick way to do it is to enter the link into flinfo. If it's free to use on Commons, then it'll show you the image information template you can use. If it's not, then it'll tell you. Hope this helps. Ytoyoda (talk) 03:27, 18 July 2021 (UTC)
