ALERT!

This user has a zero tolerance policy on vandalism.
This user tries to do the right thing. If they make a mistake, please let them know.

There's apparently someone by the name-- well, IP number of 24.190.12.249[1] who's messing pages up with items about a non-existent "zero heroes" show on PBS, and unnecessary items about Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!, apparently a show on Nickelodeon. I've cleared some of those occurrences already but I need help! Can this user be blocked? --Addict 2006 19:10, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

The user has apparently stopped. If he continues, then you can warn the user using one of the many warnings listed at WP:UTM. If they continue to vandalize, then report them to WP:AIV, and the admins will decide whether or not to take action. -Royalguard11(Talk·Desk·Review Me!) 19:11, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
Okay, once I finish typing this, I might try to report that guy to the admins. Thanks Royalguard11 for the tip! --Addict 2006 00:47, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

Video on Trial

Video on Trial's verdict about Paris Hilton is NOT actual; therefore please DON'T put a picture of her.

That was a message that I spread across the talk pages for the articles that led from the disambiguation page for loser.

The "verdict" (that I don't find humourous at all) was for Paris Hilton's song Nothing In This World and she was apparently:

Sentenced to have a Video On Trial viewer add her picture to the Wikipedia entry for "loser".

Although the falsifying content about Paris Hilton occurred around November 10, I am enraged by this. This is attempted vandalism, and it will not be tolerated. Yeah, I like Video on Trial but still, that falsifying thing has got to stop.

--Addict 2006 07:26, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

Addict, please read WP:POINT. Your actions here, which I'm inclined to assume were in good faith are disruptive - the correct place for this message was the Video On Trial talk page and possibly the actual Loser talk page, not all the DAB pages related to "Loser". Or, you could have actually waited to see if anyone even tried to add a picture to any of these pages (and if they have, just revert it as vandalism). Thanks. QmunkE 11:21, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

Sandbox: The Or Game

Okay, from what I just saw, the link to Wikipedia:Sandbox/The Or Game disappeared from the Wikipedia sandbox. Also, there was no response to my last question - I think things usually went quicker before. Can something be done? Oh, and the link to Word Association is still there. --Addict 2006 02:42, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

I meant the question on The Or Game, not here. --Addict 2006 02:46, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
I think you should directly ask User:Doug_Bell since it appears to be the administrator that performed the changes. I hope that helps! Happy Editing! -- lucasbfr talk 02:56, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

This is goodbye, Or Game. Either people abused the stuff there or just couldn't think of what to say. It was kinda fun though. --Addict 2006 20:17, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

Homestar Runner Wiki

I have an account on the Homestar Runner Wiki now! However, my account name's the same. --Addict 2006 22:59, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

Hi

That vandal-madness was terrible. I'm currently busy trying to make a good back-up copy of the Translation Errors section and other related stuff in case it'll get deleted. And hoping that Angelofdeath275 would be able to find a good source of info till the end of this week.

Yume no Kishi

We really need some anti-vandal...

Seriously, we need some person to fight these vandals, because we're just too busy undoing their edits and have no time for improving the articles...

I know that I personally can't leave serious warning messages after only one act of vandalizm by the person. Angelofdeath275 probably can, but we're already too tired of this... seeing that this thing is in every TMM article... And that section is still marked as OR, so it may be deleted one day by admins (though we have already shown quite enough proof). And people who delete it apparently don't even read the info. I begin to think that this is impossible to keep this section from being deleted...

Yume no Kishi

Well, we still can get enough proof some time. ~_^ Nihonjoe, one of the admins, gave us permission to keep this stuff, and he himself places warning messages on vandals' talk pages sometimes... Even if the section is marked as OR, there is no reason to delete it without even writing an edit summary... and again, this stuff is mentioned in every Mews' article, so... you get the picture... 8 articles that need to be watched 24/7...

Yume no Kishi

reply: I never said anything about you user name.....just shortened it.

"I know prejudice is put against IP-holders, but still, see this stuff for more details."

I the IP-holders vandaling on Tokyo Mew Mew at first didnt have accounts. Their edits are like the same. I was specifically talking about those people.

Thank you for fixing the spoiler tags on my page. ^_^;; I don't really know how to use them... Yume no Kishi

Re: Chimera Anima(l)s

I admit that "anima" was probably intended as a pun on "animal"; however, even if so, the katakana still says "anima" and not "animal", hence no reason for any arguing here. The pun is mentioned in the articles, and "animal" is only used in some fansubs and not even in the English manga. "Anima" is the correct word. And read carefully what we write in the articles. ~_^ Yume no Kishi

Hello!!!

I'm bored, because Angelofdeath275 is not around, and I have nobody to talk to... I'm so bored that I turned my user page into something really awful, and then I went into making characters-specific TMM userboxes... I'm gonna re-make a userbox "This user is bored"... Yume no Kishi

Am I really dumb, or is it normal not to understand how to upload pictures to Wikipedia?.. because I have some pics of TMM minor characters, not all of them, but still a useful thing for the minor characters' article... and I have no clue what to do with them... Yume no Kishi
They're of the same quality as other screenshots in the articles, I think (JPEG format). Geez, it'll take me ages to upload them (about 10 pics)... I have some sort of an Internet connection that isn't good for uploading. I once tried to upload something here, and I couldn't do it! And Wikipedia itself is kinda slow, because when I'm simply trying to leave a message on a talk page, I sometimes have to press the "Save page" button several times, or it ends up with the "page not found" thing... Yume no Kishi

Thanks!

Thanks for adding the border to my Wikipedia box. I am still new at the whole userbox thing, so if you see any problems in any that I have made or will make in the future, feel free to add a border here or a link there or whatnot. Thanks again. Take care and have a good weekend....SVRTVDude (Yell - Toil) 06:54, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

RE

haha I like the warning thing. I think I'll do something like that. I didn't check the history to how put the cite like that, so I didnt get why it was like that. You have probaly changed it already, but I don't mind of you change it back, but I put the citation where ti origainally was because it really does go for the enitre section. "THROUGH FIRE, JUSTICE IS SERVED!" 00:01, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

I'm not bitching at you because:

  • I do like you
  • Not pissed off
  • I want to respond to queries

You have passed the 3 reasons I was referring to.

"THROUGH FIRE, JUSTICE IS SERVED!" 00:15, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

If you read the Alterations section carefully (while editing), you'll notice that there are 3 footnotes - 3 links to 3 different articles on the same site. One is for "Anima", one is for "Reborn" in TMM, one is for "Reborn" in SM - these are different pages, that's why each has a footnote. If one of them is removed, one of the three sections loses the reference. I've fixed the links again. Yume no Kishi

You're welcome. ;) Cheers. Robotman1974 03:40, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Everyone! I am no vandal - someone posted a false message

If you were one of those who ended up on my talk page right when a "Bbb"-named vandal struck, please remember: I have no intention of vandalizing anything. Really. I mean, that guy just posted a one-time-warning on me. --Addict 2006 03:43, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

I didn't vandalize anything. Kgb23 threw a NON-SUBST'ED vandalism 4 warning on me.

--Addict 2006 22:58, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

ALERT 2: electric false accusations

There have been false accusations by User:Kgb23. He accused a few people (including me) of bullying vandals and reported it to User:Delirium. The "Net Nanny" picture seems to be related to the previous BBB vandal as well. What can I do? --Experiencing a vandalism conflict for the first time, Addict 2006 23:08, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Whatever warnings he did place on us weren't subst'ed either. --Addict 2006 23:08, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Don't worry about that user, if he/she keeps it up they're on their way to being blocked. Any experienced editor will be able to tell from looking at our contributions that we aren't' the ones vandalising. Thanks for cleaning up the vandalism to my talk page btw. ;) Robotman1974 23:25, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

HI ADDICT!

I made yet another user sub-page, this time with a list of TMM episodes. I believe there is no such thing in the articles yet. Where can it be placed? It's long... Yume no Kishi

Some people just don't seem to understand that a user may really have reasons for not answering other than that he/she just doesn't want to (came to this conclusion after reading numerous talk pages). -_-;;;
Why, romanization is a good thing, too, I believe. Neon Genesis Evangelion episode list does have it. Why not add it? Also, Cardcaptor Sakura articles have a separate table for the English dub episodes. And keep in mind that I'll eventually add summaries... maybe even long summaries...

Regarding fixes to Image:Cvutan.png

Well, I'm definitely not sure. If I do make an improved version, I'd rather upload it to Wikipedia instead of WM Commons... Though I should be bold, I don't really feel comfortable uploading to Commons because that would mean someone'd have to transfer that back to Wikipedia... Any suggestions? --Addict 2006 00:13, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

Generally, without knowing anything about your circumstances, I would upload to Commons. :) GofG ||| Contribs 00:15, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

I kinda want a second opinion. :) --Addict 2006 00:16, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

Since it's a free image, you should up it to Commons. This way all Wikimedia projects can use it, not just en.wiki. Xiner (talk, email) 00:28, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

Alright. Thanks. Oh, and I'll exempt the Wiki/pedia abbreviation this time because a specific one is stated. --Addict 2006 02:33, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

My edits to word association sandbox

  • Firstly, I was not making a legal threat. You may have taken it a little too literally, but I wasn't threatening to sue.
  • Secondly, I had no idea adding two words wasn't allowed.
  • Thirdly, I thought that the total words was s'posed to be changed after adding words, thereby raising the total.

Sorry if there were any misunderstandings. Try to be a little less sensitive about things that aren't meant to be serious and things done out of lack of knowledge. --Noone 03:03, 2 March 2007 (UTC) P.S.: I didn't notice this on the page:

In spirit of the game, please only type one word consecutively.

--Noone 03:06, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

Legal action?!?

What the heck? When did I ever threaten to take legal action against you?!? Oh, throwing in jail, yeah, that's REAL legal action right there. Like a 15 year old has any say in the law. If you couldn't tell I was making a joke then you have some serious brain damage. And besides, I didn't mean you PERSONALLY. --Cheez.. 21:34, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

...

It's amazing how the discussion at Tokyo Mew Mew constantly goes off-topic. And there is still much to do there, but nobody seems to care (well, Angelofdeath275 does care, but she has other things to do... it's only me who spends nearly all free time editing Wikipedia...).

And... why am I still so kind to vandals??? Why??? I'm editing some of the most frequently vandalized articles (or at least it seems so) (this and this in particular), and I just can't warn them every time... It seems to be bad... I mean, I have about 40 articles in my watchlist, and still let people vandalize them, even though it's hard to take care of all these pages while finding sources or adding new info.

夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk 05:39, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

Wow, an award for you... ^_^
If the vandal is some kid (like the one who wrote the "Falkor will eat you face" stupidity), the warnings are absolutely useless. And they usually don't vandalize more than one or two articles. (Seriously, what's so entertaining in adding stupidity to random articles?..) Anyway, I badly need to get rid of my kindness... apparently... (OK, I'll stop writing random stuff on your talk page.) 夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk 06:37, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

Jon Heder's page

You asked me where it says Jon Heder played "a skull" rather than a pizza guy in Monster House.

Try the IMDB:

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1417647/

His character's NAME was "Skull". Or, more precisely, Reginald 'Skull' Skulinski.

RE (pictures)

I haven't finished with this thing yet. 3 or 4 pics left. I can make them later, though. And what does "low-resolution" mean, anyway (in terms of Wikipedia pics)? I mean, I'm using the same software I use to make screenshots from "Sailor Moon" for my webpage, and there I can't make pics of high quality, because otherwise the pages will be too big and slow. But I dunno... maybe here the pics should be of even lower resolution?.. 夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk 06:44, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
