Reno Gang edit

Hello, Add925! I stumbled onto your above article and wanted to provide some feedback. First, it is a fairly good article; if you haven't already, you should read Wikipedia:Your first article. Other then some citation problems, it was a good read for me. You might want to check out WP:CITE to fix some referencing issues. I also wanted to let you know I removed the section from American Old West because the gang was 1) pre-"Wild West" era, and 2) too far east. I did leave it as a "See also" link. If you feel differently, I would invite you to initiate discussion on the talk page first. Otherwise, good article and happy editing! Rgrds. --Tombstone (talk) 16:04, 20 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Wow, the article's looking pretty good. I would say that the refs still need proper formatting (I'm not that good at that...) and you should probably incorporate most of the external links into references, if possible (try to have no more than, say, four or so really pertinent external links listed separately in the "External links" section). Wikipedia:Footnotes gives a specific how-to, if you are interested. Also, when listing books use the method explained in Wikipedia:ISBN. You definitely should also add to the train robbery article, too. Rgrds. --Tombstone (talk) 20:45, 20 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

welcome and Nicholson-Rand House edit

Hi Add925, I noticed your Nicholson-Rand House article. I am an active editor and have mostly worked on articles about NRHP-listed places. I like the pic and other aspects of what you did in that article about an NRHP already. Thanks! I wonder if you developed the nice NRHP infobox from scratch by yourself, or if you have already found your way to the convenient Elkman NRHP infobox generator tool. I commented, though, about sourcing questions at Talk:Nicholson-Rand House and wonder if you could reply there. In particular, do you have the NRHP nomination document for the house in electronic form that you could possibly share, either by a link or by emailing it? I would like to help improve the sourcing in that article. Welcome to wikipedia. Cheers, --doncram (talk) 15:58, 22 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for January 3 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Legend of the Reno Brothers, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Seymour and Scottsburg (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

File permission problem with File:Lotrb.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Lotrb.jpg, which you've attributed to David Distler. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 01:05, 19 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Go away wiki-narcs edit

Yes, that could be you. Your annoying accusations of copyright infringement are unfounded in my case. All it would take is a minimum effort to recognize I am the owner/creater of pics I post in Wikimedia.

Now go away

Deletion edit

Hi, Add925! I had to delete the page Pizza by Donisi because it was a copyright violation of this blog. Valereee (talk) 13:45, 16 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

I cannot understand, what violated the copyright? Add925 (talk) 17:24, 16 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
I am the owner of the blog. I am Dave distler and approve its use here Add925 (talk) 17:25, 16 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

I cannot violate the copyright of my own blog. Please restore Pizza by Donisi Add925 (talk) 18:14, 16 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
You can place a statement on the blog article releasing the contents to public domain with no rights limited. It won't help with showing notability, which is what it's being nominated for speedy deletion for now, though. All articles need to provide evidence of WP:NOTABILITY, which you can read about at that link. Valereee (talk) 20:47, 16 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Pizza by Donisi edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Pizza by Donisi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
