Dean Radin page

There has been plenty of evidence of Dean Radin being a fraud, along with all other parapsychologists. Why were my edits reverted? We are at war with charlatans and frauds who kill millions annually by promoting crap like ESP and alternative medicine. Want proof? Go to http://www.whatstheharm.net Strictly speaking, there has been even proof of criminal charges and mail order diplomas against all these parapsychologists, Dean Radin simply being the ring leader. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Skeptic debunker (talkcontribs) 00:06, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

Re: Dean Radin page

You'll forgive me for saying this, but skepticism is not a POV, and this is all fact I've replaced the page with. If you look at the current talk page and the sources, the page reads like an autobiography for Dean Radin and not like a balanced page. If anyone assumes that the edits I put forward are forcing a POV, then they clearly need to double check the definition of skepticism, and possibly have their heads examined for believing in frauds like Radin. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Skeptic debunker (talkcontribs) 00:12, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

All right, fair enough.--Skeptic debunker (talk) 00:17, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

Weird, shortly after the above he gets an indef block for vandalism (which looks well deserved). Dougweller (talk) 09:59, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

Careful, you may have thanked a vandal for vandalising

L0g3d1n (talk · contribs) did change "3000000 raids in twenty years" to "3,000,000 raids in twenty years", but that's still vandalism (the editor had to know it was wrong), and in any case 'Logedin' (logged in) is almost certainly the editor who added the 3000000 shortly before, 122.104.182.213 (talk · contribs), don't you think? Dougweller (talk) 09:57, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

Rollback

I have of Spades/Archives/2009/October granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe I can trust you to use rollback correctly by using it for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks. –Juliancolton | Talk 22:13, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

Congrats on getting rollback. I hope to see you Huggling soon. All the best, T'Shael MindMeld 00:02, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
Hi, next time you see something you are not sure, please do a bit of research before reaching for the rollback button and accuse others of vandalism, thanks! :) 130.216.222.132 (talk) 03:33, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
Yes, please use rollback more carefully than you did on the Integer rollback here. Quaeler (talk) 07:07, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

Luggate farm

Hi again. I noticed that you reverted an edit on this page. While new-page patrolling, if you you tag an article for speedy deletion and then the author comes along and blanks the page, usually you would re-tag it as a G7 as oppossed to reverting. Otherwise you're doing a great job with Huggle, so keep it up! All the best, T'Shael MindMeld 00:33, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

Yes, I see, but the edit summary described blanking the page and a revert was just my first instinct. Thanks for letting me know. (C/SGT)G2sai 00:34, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
Not a problem. Like I said earlier, overall you're doing a great job. Just don't be so quick on the gun. :-) PS If, however, the author comes along and only removes the tag, then it's best to revert and issue a warning about removing speedy delete tags. All the best, T'Shael MindMeld 00:37, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

I want to clarify

That it is IQfur01 who has been reverting most of the content that I've been posting. He was actually reverting even prior to my reverts, even when I clearly have used sources when I did my own edits. The most recent reverts I have used are basically clarifying the groups and names that are provided in the sources, which were provided by prior users who have edited the Wikipedia page. I'm not sure why you only left a message on my talk page because for one I didn't start using profanity. It was actually IQfur01 and another user whose IP Address is as follows: 122.104.192.221. If you follow the history, you can clearly see that IQfur01 clearly calls me a "Monkey shit" and the other IP address calls me a "retard". Again, I respect that you're trying to let me know about the content on Wikipedia but I have not seen you even message them either...who were in fact the ones who started this whole mess.

The initial edit that I did was using specific sources from both websites of the Official Government of the Philippines and U.S. Senate. However, IQfur01 seemed to take offense to that and quickly started a revert war with me. Just like he was the one who started using profanity.

Again I'm not trying to give Filipinos a bad name, I think if you're going to ask me to take accountability you should do the same for the others. It also doesn't seem IQfur01 likes anything I edit and quickly reverts it. So again, if you're making me out to be the enemy I think you're wrong as I simply am trying to add information to the article. Unless IQfur01 can understand that, I think the reverting war will continue since I'm simply adding information. IQfur01 has reverted other edits as well, not just mine. So keep that in mind. Charles K. Kao

Hi,

Could you explain why this got a rollback? kmccoy (talk) 00:09, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

My apologies, was originally reverting edits by some moron typing junk like "has a small penis". Correct as you wish. (C/SGT)G2sai(talk) 00:11, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

Your reversion of Charles K. Kao was mistaken. Wikipedia:Huggle is no doubt useful but as in this case it also makes it easy to make mistakes. Please be more careful in its use—not all IPs are vandals. Thanks. 72.244.207.41 (talk) 00:17, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

I know for a fact that at least one of my reverts on Charles Kao was good; others, however, I am not sure. Thank you for bringing that to my attention. (C/SGT)G2sai(talk) 00:19, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
The other one wasn't. No need to be unsure about it. :) kmccoy (talk) 00:21, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

Template:Vandalism information

Hiya,

There was a problem with your edits on Template:Vandalism information; I used rollback, and then hopefully reinstated it in the correct form - it was causing a bit of trouble on pages that transcluded it, so hope you don't mind, and I hope that I got it right. I only used rollback 'coz it was the quickest way to get it sorted. See [1] [2] Cheers,  Chzz  ►  05:03, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

reverting vandalism..

Hi, I'm reviewing your request for page protection on Super Mario 64. When you revert/undo vandalism, can you (a) make sure to use edit summaries indicating so, and (b) leave warning messages to vandals? It'd really help. (please respond here, not my talkpage). tedder (talk) 22:27, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

Ah... I can address both. a) I have forgotten to leave edit summaries because the reversion was manual, because I couldn't bring up a previous revision of the page on Huggle. Sorry. b) As for the warning messages, I saw a registered account undoing changes, by the name of User:Lookintomyeyes (edited only that page, check the contribs), and thought they were reverting the vandalism until I saw vandalism remaining on the page; it was then I figured from the page history that they were in an edit war with the IP. I was skeptical about the actions and was unsure about whether to warn or not, and left a message on their talk page questioning their actions (no reply). Thank you for bringing that to my attention. The Ace of Spades(talk) 01:17, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
No problem. Carry on then :-) It's just harder to sort out reverts when no edit summaries are used. Obviously, it didn't stop me from protecting the page. tedder (talk) 01:21, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
Ok, thanks. The Ace of Spades(talk) 01:22, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
BTW, there is a checkbox at the bottom of preferences->editing to semi-force you to use the edit summary. Mine is turned on because it's a nice reminder. tedder (talk) 01:23, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
Turned it on, thanks for the tip. The Ace of Spades(talk) 01:25, 21 October 2009 (UTC)

TParis00ap's RFA

Hi. I noticed you moved from Support to Neutral on this RFA - but I don't see where you actually added a Neutral comment. Most voters leave the struck vote, which may be why I was confused - whatever you want to do works for me, but I wanted to ping you in case you intended to add a Neutral and it didn't take. Thanks, UltraExactZZ Claims ~ Evidence 18:10, 21 October 2009 (UTC)

Agreed, also confused why you switched with no reasoning. Any insight would be nice :) Regards, --—Cyclonenim | Chat  18:31, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
Not a problem at all; the usual course is to strike, but I've seen it done both ways. It depends on the candidate, really; for some reason, some RFAs are smooth and simple, while others go into drama overdrive. If you're happy with how your vote/comment shows up, then that's good enough for me - it's clear what you intended now, at least as far as the vote is concerned.
