User pages don't go on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion

edit

I removed the Afd notice from the page in question, because only articles and their talk pages go on WP:Afd. For user pages you'd have to use Wikipedia:Miscellaneous deletion. It's just a procedural thing. -- Curps 00:38, 21 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

  • Sure thing, I just fowarded the content from the AFD to the MfD, if that's alright--anon editor 00:47, 21 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

I am NOT "bigdaddy" I was on a self-imposed ban which had offical ArbComm sanction. Rex071404 216.153.214.94 03:20, 21 October 2005 (UTC)Reply
I had (to my regret) a great deal of experience dealing with Rex in each of his two previous stints at Wikipedia (each of which was ended by an Arbitration Committee action). Despite the similarities between Rex and Big Daddy, I'd lay very heavy odds that they are not the same person. The writing and editing styles are totally different. I can see how the similar right-wing viewpoints and the timing of Rex's latest reappearance would suggest an identity to you, but I just don't think that Rex could have "disguised" himself as Big Daddy.
Let me add my warning that dealing with Rex is a bottomless pit into which you can sink your Wikipedia time. I'm sure that he's consumed literally hundreds of person-hours already. Because you're a new user, you might form a bad impression of Wikipedia if you get too immersed in this situation. I suggest that, to avoid burnout, you make a deliberate effort to limit the time you spend on Rex -- that's what I'm going to do, or at least try to do. JamesMLane 11:30, 21 October 2005 (UTC)Reply
  • Hey bigrexy, I hate to break it to you, but the poorly worded strawman is almost as over done as the right leaning liberatarian sock, I really suggest you go for the cowboy or the mime puppets, far more orgional--172.142.159.147 16:23, 22 October 2005 (UTC)Reply
