Thanks for your comments. The school is a prominent girl’s school in my area and share aspects of her history with my alma mater, Methodist Boys’ High School, Oron. I noticed that not much has been written about the school in terms of history, so I decided to bring it up here as my contribution to Wikipedia and for advancement of knowledge. I do not work for the school, neither do I get paid by anyone for my effort, it’s just the passion I have for writing articles. I may not be so conversant with the technicalities involved in putting up an error-proof Wikipedia article, but with encouragement and guidance I can do better, and the piece could be improved upon. Thank you. Abialic (talk) 20:15, 30 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Your submission at Articles for creation: Mary Hanney Secondary School (August 26) edit

Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by S0091 was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: Sources are dictionaries, directory listings, by those affiliated with Hanney or the school (which includes the Methodist church and those affiliated) so not independent or are only brief mentions. Also, this is written to promote the school rather than in a neutral encyclopedic manner. None of this is to say is not a great school but based on the sources provided, it cannot meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines.
