Please stop

edit

Please stop removing the History of Albania category from articles relating to the history of Albania. Thanks. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 13:55, 14 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Kanun, for example, would seem at first glance to clearly relate to the history of Albania. Why did you remove it here? --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 13:57, 14 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Also, there's a clear definition of WP:Vandalism here that the last edit you reverted didn't meet. A content dispute isn't automatically vandalism. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 14:03, 14 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Can you please stop reverting for a while, and discuss your changes? Nothing's going to be solved this way. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 14:07, 14 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
I think I actually agree with your removals here, but it's better to make the case on talkpages first.--SarekOfVulcan (talk) 14:15, 14 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.--SarekOfVulcan (talk) 14:01, 14 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

In a 2007 arbitration case, administrators were given the power to impose discretionary sanctions on any user working on articles concerning the Balkans. Before any such sanctions are imposed, editors are to be put on notice of the decision. This notice is not to be taken as implying any inappropriate behaviour on your part, merely to warn you of the Arbitration Committee's decision. Thank you.--SarekOfVulcan (talk) 14:15, 14 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

So if You think that belongs in this term - History of Albania - remove it but,Why dont be belong in history of Greece the thousands filosophers like Aristoteles ,platon etc Whould You like to start putting all them together? Its same.I just put Medevial Greece in History of Greece its the same category and been reverted ...

its the same thing if you re responding to mad people You personally have to clean this up , magazine of Albania is not the History of Albania -

The solution to all of this is discussion, not WP:edit warring. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 14:22, 14 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

You do not understand Wikipedia's categorization system. People will be happy to explain it to you, or ideally, you could be expected to pull your own weight and read the manual before making edits to something you haven't even tried to understand. What the hell is the point of this edit other than showcasing that you do not know what you are doing? Of course Leonidas is part of "Greek History". This is why he is in Category:People of the Greco-Persian Wars, which is in turn in Category:Greco-Persian Wars, ultimately a subcategory of Category:Ancient Greece, Category:History of Greece by period, and ultimately Category:History of Greece.

I hope this is sufficiently clear now. You should not add articles to super-categories with a huge topical scope. I have been asked to block you because you are "out of control". I hope that once you stop to think you will agree that you have made a mistake and go back to revert your own edits. But just in case this is above your head, be advised that you can still be blocked from editing at any time simply because your edits cause disruption. --dab (𒁳) 15:35, 14 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Too many categories

edit

Please stop adding/removing categories for now. It's not clear that you're doing it correctly in all cases, and without discussion, it's difficult to establish. If you continue, it may be considered WP:disruptive editing and lead to a block. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 15:21, 14 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

No, it's not "correctly", that's why you have a bunch of people reverting you. Start discussing, or I'll have to block you for a time. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 15:30, 14 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 15:24, 14 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
