Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Name of Lithuania, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Felida97 (talk) 13:05, 9 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Sexuality of William Shakespeare. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you for your contributions! However, please take note of the above policies when you add categories, such as Category:LGBT erasure, to articles. There must be clear, reliably sourced content in the article to warrant a category (see WP:CATVER). You should not infer something by yourself from the article, for example, whether something is considered LGBT erasure, doing so is WP:OR/WP:SYNTH. Thank you and happy editing! Categories

edit

Thank you for your contributions, but please be more careful with your category additions. Besides the WP:SYNTH issue mentioned above, please make sure that the categories are even appropriate from a "type of subject" standpoint. For example, the article about the organization Eurasian Observatory for Democracy and Elections should not be in categories like Category:Referendums in Moldova, Category:Sovereignty referendums or Category:Election controversies (I get why you added them, as this organization evaluates elections/referendums and has had controversial opinions in the past, but that's just not how categorization works on Wikipedia). Furthermore, articles should generally be "categorised under the most specific branch in the category tree possible" (WP:CATSPECIFIC), which means that the mentioned organization should not be categorized in Category:Russian irredentism since it was/is already in the Category:Eurasianism (a subcategory of the former).

Please also note again that added categories should be verifiable, neutral and uncontroversial (see WP:CATPOV). In general, with regards to this topic, I would encourage you to take a look at Wikipedia:Categorization, Wikipedia:Overcategorization and Wikipedia:Categorization dos and don'ts. Though overall, I don't want to discourage you and hope you keep editing regardless of my messages! Felida97 (talk) 14:26, 9 March 2023 (UTC) P.S. May I suggest that you create an account as it has many advantages (see WP:ACCOUNT)?Reply
