Request reason:

Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. My IP address is 86.191.14.95. I can assure you this isn't an IP proxy - no idea why that suddenly came out when I was trying to have a civil chat with Yamla and then this came, a bit unfair really. I understand we're supposed to assume good faith but the approach I've seen from him falls under WP:HOTHEADS. This kind of approach just turns away contributors.

Decline reason:

While this doesn't appear to be an open proxy - IPQS is prone to false positives, and I haven't been able to verify it - but as Yamla also pointed out, you're evading a block somewhere, and you'll need to address that as he told you on his talk page. In future unblock requests, you'll need to address your behavior rather than commenting on the blocking admin as you're doing here. —DoRD (talk) 11:55, 28 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

As for my behaviour, I have no comment - I've tried to be civil and, if you check my contributions from this machine (it isn't even my regular device, just one I'm using atm for next few weeks) you'll see that I approached him to talk. Nothing more, nothing less. And yes, I am targeting Yamla with criticism here (and maybe that counts as a personal attacK? I've stopped caring at this stage) seeing as he's historically dismissed my talking points (throwing WP:AGF out the window]] or referred me to the one-way mess that is UTRS (and that is frustrating in itself because of the limited text available and because there's no way to respond to Just Chillings at all). I'm gonna cut this off before I descend into ranting but I have a lot of (what I feel to be) legitimate reasons for being frustrated here and unlike some I won't back down, /ever/.

Decline reason:

As I routinely tell my 7-year old, being frustrated is not an excuse for bad behaviour. Yunshui  15:15, 28 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

And what 'bad behaviour' is it that I'm supposed to have engaged in?

Decline reason:

As you were told above, block evasion. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 15:59, 28 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

IPQS still indicates you are running a proxy, but my scan matches that of DoRD and shows no proxy any more. I have modified the block to indicate it is now only for WP:EVADE. You are welcome to leave your unblock request unedited or modify it to reflect this, as you please. You are also welcome to sign in to your account and request an unblock there, or use WP:UTRS, unless these options have already been withdrawn from you. --Yamla (talk) 14:00, 28 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Those options were unnecessarily taken from me, my talk page access was removed even though no abuse had taken place! I did try being open and honest about things at first and got dismissed for it. Perhaps if people had been a little more open and a little more constructive, maybe the process could've been followed instead of stonewalling me at every step.
