Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page Indo-Pakistani War of 1947–1948 did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, Grandayy. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you. TenWhile6 (talk) 17:06, 3 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm InvadingInvader. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to 2022 in the US seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Are you the same person as Mynameisspam1? InvadingInvader (talk) 20:40, 30 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, you may be blocked from editing. InvadingInvader (talk) 01:57, 1 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Are you Mynameisspam1?

edit

I'm noticing a lot of grammatical, contextual, and format similarities between you and Mynameisspam1. InvadingInvader (talk) 17:52, 2 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I am. I got a new computer recently and I am yet to sign back into any of my accounts, including my one for Wikipedia, but I intend to change that soon. If I'm doing something that's wrong, then I apologize; I am merely trying to contribute. 68.100.154.123 (talk) 19:40, 2 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
I understand; Wikipedia does have a very strict sockpuppeting policy, and whenever you edit, use your account.
Also, regarding the message you left on my talk page, 2 hours is way too short of a time to ask me to respond; you did make it seem like that I waited a week. InvadingInvader (talk) 20:52, 2 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
I apologize for my impropriety and I mean no offense. I am trying to log back into my account and I am having some difficulties with doing so. I have since tried to log back into it through a password reset via email, but I have not received any email to allow me to reset the password for my account, despite this being my first and only time so far trying to reset my password ever—let alone in the past twenty-four hours—as per the policy for password resets. I am still new to Wikipedia and I need some advice on navigating the platform. What should I do? As for my edits, I know that I have received two messages from you about my biased edits to the article on 2022 in the United States. I would like to know if I have been banned from editing, as you have previously informed me, because that message reads like a warning that I could be banned from editing for my biased edits as opposed to a notification that I could be banned from editing if I continue to make such edits. Have I been banned yet or not? 68.100.154.123 (talk) 21:07, 2 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
No you have not been banned (I don't think) based on what you are telling me. Rarely are accounts permanently banned or blocked; this is really only in instances of proven sock puppetry (which I do not think you are doing) and accounts created for the sole purpose of vandalism (which you are doing the opposite of; contributing).
I would reach out to tech support when you get a chance or consider the Teahouse if you don't know where to start. InvadingInvader (talk) 22:24, 2 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
I thank you for your assistance and I appreciate your feedback. In the future, I will try to be more mindful of the rules when contributing to Wikipedia. I would also like to apologize once again for my impropriety when reaching out to you; I was just really concerned about my account on this site. 68.100.154.123 (talk) 22:36, 2 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Court decisions in 2022 in the United States

edit

Friendly note: You don't need to mention everything about a federal judge. As an example, instead of writing "Judge Example Example of the United States District Court for the Example District of Example", just say "Federal judge Example Example". Entries can get very long when you write all that out. InvadingInvader (talk) 18:25, 9 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! InvadingInvader (talk) 19:31, 14 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to 2022 in the United States seemed less than neutral and has been adjusted. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please pay attention to how you write entries and keep things concise and neutral, specifically referring to the 9/20 entry on the migrants' class action against DeSantis. Also, please do not write out courts' names; we shouldn't be including district court names here. InvadingInvader (talk) 05:33, 21 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Make sure to read talk pages.

edit

Please make sure to read the talk page for 2022 in the United States. Many of your edits are not notable enough nor meet the criteria that the other editors agree is necessary. A section of our talk page is dedicated to shootings, and we have coherently decided that the article is getting too big and filled with unnecessary events. We've settled that any shooting which has its own article or involves specific people with their own article will be included, but no other shootings will be included, as if an incident is severe enough, an article for it will be written.

Again, please read the talk pages; we're trying our best to notify you of these decisions, and we actively encourage you to participate in these discussions. However, if you're going to refuse to discuss and just keep adding stuff, many of us will consider this disruptive editing, which can eventually lead to blocks. InvadingInvader (talk) 05:29, 26 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

I understand and I apologize for that. I will try to be mindful of that too. By the way, I am still trying to recover my account. 68.100.154.123 (talk) 03:20, 27 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Reminder to read talk pages. Seriously.

edit

Read the talk page for 2022 in the United States before making any future edits. We recently had a discussion which ended in consensus that shootings without their own designated articles won't be included on here. In a recent edit of yours, you added back the Kennywood shooting along with many others in violation of consensus.

We are in the process of moving many of the events you have added to a new article, currently titled Draft:Minor United States events in 2022. Please add the majority of your events, save for record breakers like the $1 billion Alex Jones settlement, to that article and not the main one. If you'd like to ask other editors on what they think, use the Talk Page.

Additionally, I've noticed that such edit's summary is in accurate and seemingly attempted to hide true intentions. PLEASE make sure that your edit summary is always as accurate as possible. Thanks, InvadingInvader (talk) 04:02, 13 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Stop adding minor Alex Jones events.

edit

Please stop adding Alex Jones developments to 2022 in the United States except for judgements. We've talked about this before, and most of us agree that because this article is getting so big, minor events such as shootings without wiki articles and Alex Jones appealing a ruling aren't notable enough. To some, this can be considered disruptive editing, and it can lead to blocks in the future. Thanks, InvadingInvader (talk) 01:48, 24 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Too much detail

edit

Heya! When you get a chance, please read WP:Too much detail. I think that you're putting too many unnotable events within 2022 in the United States. Try to exclusively include events which have major impacts on the country as a whole or were widely nationally followed like Depp v. Heard. Thanks! InvadingInvader (userpage, talk) 22:41, 28 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

I understand. 68.100.154.123 (talk) 23:05, 28 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Talk pages and shootings

edit

Please stop adding shootings without their own articles to 2022 in the United States. We decided on the Talk Page a while back that shootings without their own articles aren't suitable for inclusion, and please try to read it next time. Further additions of shootings without their own talk pages may be considered to be disruptive editing, which can lead to your IP address being blocked. Thanks, InvadingInvader (userpage, talk) 19:15, 7 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

I apologize and I will keep that in mind. 68.100.154.123 (talk) 19:56, 7 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Bostock v. Clayton County, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you.   Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to 1976 Delaware gubernatorial election, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Note on full court names.

edit

Howdy; regarding your recent edit to 2023 in the United States on the LGBT book removal event, please don't list the full court name. Just list the federal judge's name and wikilink. Thanks!
Side note: if you can't get access to your account, feel free to create a new one. You can place a {{Retired}} tag on your old account and state that you lost the password and have moved to a new account. Or maybe even make your username User:Mynameisspam2 to indicate it's the same person. InvadingInvader (userpage, talk) 18:03, 3 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Powerhouse Animation Studios, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 00:02, 27 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
