Re Hanover Park High School notables edit

Regarding your recent change to the article for Hanover Park High School, notables listed in article like this one should have Wikipedia articles, with their connection to the school supported by reliable and verifiable sources. The two victims of 9/11 and Randall R. Rossilli, Jr. don't have Wikipedia articles and don't have sources. There are sources for DiRocco, but no article. Given the circumstances, the entries will be removed. They should not be reinserted unless corresponding articles are created with appropriate sources establishing notability, and entries in this article need to have sources documenting that the notable individuals attended the school. Please feel free to contact me on my talk page with any questions. Alansohn (talk) 02:10, 13 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Again, regarding your recent edit to the article for Hanover Park High School, in which you stated that "There is a plaque in the school honoring the 9/11 victims and DiRocco graduated from HP and was recognized when he was drafted by the school." None of the four individuals have Wikipedia articles, and thus should not be included in a list of notables. Joe DiRocco has the strongest claim, but never appears to have played a major league game. Rossilli is not mentioned in any Wikipedia article, nor can I find any sources. With all due respect to the family and friends of the two gentlemen who lost their lives on September 11, neither appears to meet the Wikipedia standard of notability. As such, these entries will be removed again and should not be reinserted again until Wikipedia articles exist for these individuals and there are reliable and verifiable sources provided supporting their attendance at the school. I'm not sure what was unclear in the note I left above but I will reiterate the issues that exist here one more time. Alansohn (talk) 02:59, 16 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
