Batroc the Leaper edit

I'm curious to why you felt the need to redact the insertion under NOR. The piece is self-explanatory unless you decided that 1] Batroc is a common French surname; 2] Aristophanes didn't author Batrokos (The Frogs) or that the Wikipedia article on "Batrachian" didn't redirect to Frog; or 3] Stan Lee didn't constantly engage in wordplay in naming his characters.
My "original research" is on the level of "water is wet" and "the sun shines". It doesn't require any citation further than that included.
However, for the record, I have been a comic collector for over 50 years (I own the issue with Batroc initial appearance), have published letters of comment in Marvel titles, and have been a panelist on the subject of comics at several SF conventions.

Age of Ultron release edit

Heya, I undid your revert on the Quicksilver page as AoU is very much out all round the world - just not yet for the unlucky USA. Saw it in a mainstream cinema special screening starting at midnight last night/this morning! IMDB release list: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2395427/releaseinfo

Cheers.

Hmm, they keep doing that. Releasing American movies a few weeks later in our own country - shameful!  ;) 65.126.152.254 (talk) 18:09, 23 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
It does seem monstrously unfair! But if it's any consolation, the film is great and will be very well worth the wait! :) Beccaviola (talk) 20:38, 23 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the good news - I can't wait! 65.126.152.254 (talk) 20:54, 23 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
Perhaps AGF and do some research before you assume a film isn't out in future. You also reverted my edit http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Scarlet_Witch&oldid=658865680 on the Scarlet Witch which I made after watching the film, also in a mainstream cinema.
And now you know how UK cinema-goers felt having to wait for UK films for weeks after they'd been released in the US. ;) 86.171.108.21 (talk) 07:18, 30 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
Right, and now I know the film is out, so I won't make the same mistake again. Oh, those crazy film companies! 65.126.152.254 (talk) 13:15, 30 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
And I should think, clearly being a fan, you'll have seen it by now. Hope you enjoyed it! As you're doing a fair bit on Wikipedia, you might like to think about making yourself an account so that you have a bit more of an identity as an editor. Beccaviola (talk) 17:36, 5 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Inhumanoids/Ace (GI Joe) relation edit

It says right there on the Inhumanoids article that Earth Corps member Sabre Jet and Joe team member Ace are likely one and the same, as they have the same name; the page also has a section on Hector Ramirez, a parody of Geraldo Rivera who appeared first in some GI Joe episodes, one episode each of Transformers and Jem, before making appearances in the Inhumanoids series.

The problem is that the text on the Inhumanoids article is also unsourced, so you would have to provide some source of reliable source to indicate that they ARE the same character, not "likely" the same cahracter. Having the same name is otherwise just a coincidence. 65.126.152.254 (talk) 13:32, 22 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Re: The Apocalypse Stone edit

Regarding this: please include correct bibliographical information when citing sources. If you say something comes from "the online version of a magazine", and the cited source is a link to an external webpage, then other Wikipedia editors can only assume that the linked page is the source of the information. If you would kindly update both the citation and the wording of the paragraph to reflect the source, then please do so. I will remove some of the fluff from the summary in the meantime. Gaelan, the information I restored, was removed by another IP editor. While genital multilation is unpleasant, it is actually part of the story. It wasn't entirely correct though; reading this plot synopsis, I recall that it was his penis and not his testicles that were nailed to a board. I won't bother to restore this again, as being an IP editor anyone else who sees me restore it will assume I am vandalizing the article even though I am not. I'm not going to fight you on this, but all information in the article comes from primary sources. The issue is not verifiability in this case, but rather that whomever wrote it did original research to form the summary in the article. Please see WP:PRIMARY. There are no secondary or tertiary sources used. Due to this, it may very well not be notable (WP:N). Jeremiah (talk) 04:39, 14 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Though on second thought I am having an harder time proving notability on him it seems. Newsarama and comic book resources are good sources but there should be more for it to be official. I also am not sure of all the original GOTG being notable too. Outside of maybe Yondu. Perhaps a few rumors can be true and he will appear in film. That can help. Jhenderson 777 01:50, 22 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Look, man, the comment you keep trying to change was added by Gordon Ecker back in 2014: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Health_(gaming)&diff=prev&oldid=595705251 You keep trying to change what he said to make the comment your own, by adding a few words to his comments and replacing his signature with your own, but you cannot be altering other people's talk page comments. If you want to make a new comment, then please add a new comment, like saying "I think you should have said that Hit Points also measure how much damage a character can inflict." That would be fine, to add your own comments after someone else's comments. But please stop trying to change what other people have said. 65.126.152.254 (talk) 16:42, 14 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Refimprove date tagging edit

Hey there, I see you are tagging lots of pages with {{Refimprove}}, though seem to leave out the date tag, which causes a bot to have to clean up after you. Would you mind adding the tags as such? {{Refimprove|date=October 2017}} Cheers! Lordtobi () 19:48, 9 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

I will see what I can do, thanks! 65.126.152.254 (talk) 19:49, 9 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
Logically, the same goes for {{cn}} (long form {{citation needed}}) as well  : {{citation needed|date=October 2017}} Cheers! Lordtobi () 19:53, 9 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • You are sticking it in articles that don't need it. Ultima Forever: Quest for the Avatar has 13 references throughout that short article. Nowhere is tagged with any citation needed tags. Why did you tag it? Others I'm looking through seem to have your pointless tag also. Instead of automatically doing it, take time to read the article before you post that. No worries, I am done with that. My apologies if I got any that did not need it. I spent a day and a half going through that list, so my eyes may have been sideways by the end. 65.126.152.254 (talk) 22:05, 10 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

August 2018 edit

Hello, I'm I dream of horses. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Jeff Wilpon seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.  I dream of horses  If you reply here, please ping me by adding {{U|I dream of horses}} to your message  (talk to me) (My edits) @ 19:31, 21 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Shadow of the Flame edit

The article Shadow of the Flame has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No significant coverage of the subject can be found other than online bookstores. Not even included in the "Dungeons & Dragons" template. Does not seem to pass WP:BKCRIT

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
