Hi 5here4there! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Envole-moi that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. NebY (talk) 15:24, 9 April 2024 (UTC)

You could make a dummy edit to state that your edits were not minor. But there's a bigger problem.

In the only two edits of yours that I've examined closely, you've made English language errors, Wikipedia linking errors and most importantly, significant factual errors. I corrected them in detail in the Alexander the Great article[1] but in the case of Sergey Konenkov simply reverted, as there were several errors and I could see no strong reason to prefer and retain your remaining stylistic choices. If you are to persist with this type of copy-editing, you need to slow down, consider and even research your stylistic changes more carefully, and most importantly of all, take particular care to avoid inadvertently changing the meaning of the text. More broadly, you might consider contributing to the encyclopedia in different ways, ones which don't carry the same risks. NebY (talk) 16:59, 9 April 2024 (UTC)

You have continued to introduce errors into articles. With this edit[2] to John Duncan (surgeon) you introduced an error in a company name, said that our subject graduated with a doctor, changed titles such as President and assistant surgeon to president and "an assistant surgeon", changed the perfectly proper "become house surgeon to" to the inappropriate "become the house surgeon of", which if it has any meaning at all does not have the meaning intended, and changed necrotise to "neutrolise", a word which I fear may be your invention. You changed the natural idiomatic English of "born the son of" to "born as the son of", and straightforward "on" to "upon" to no purpose, and more. Please stop making these changes; the tiny gains that occasional stylistic fixes might make are not worth the substantial errors. NebY (talk) 12:07, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
