Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Baltimore, Maryland do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. ccwaters (talk) 23:05, 19 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

The links I sent you above should have explained it. Linking to your own sites is frowned upon (WP:COI, WP:SPAM). Thats the big issue. Furthermore, WP:EL provides guidelines as to what links should and shouldn't be added. More specifically the section at WP:LINKSTOAVOID has criteria that potentially applies to your link: 2 (how do we know that's accurate), 4&5 (see above), 8 (needs a specific application). 13 (how is a 3D model of city hall relevant to the overall article of the city). ccwaters (talk) 15:45, 21 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Notability of 3doogle edit

A tag has been placed on 3doogle requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Bonadea (talk) 13:03, 15 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed that you recently added a {{hangon}} template to an article, 3doogle. In order for an administrator to evaluate whether the article should be speedy deleted or not, we request that you provide reasoning, on the article's talk page, for why it should remain. Thank you. --Bonadea (talk) 13:41, 15 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia, because it has been identified as an account used for promotion of a company or group, with a username that implies that this has been done by that company or group. See Wikipedia:FAQ/Organization and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest.

This kind of activity is considered spamming and is forbidden by Wikipedia policies. In addition, the use of a username like yours violates our username policy.

You may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below or emailing the administrator who blocked you.

Your reason should include your response to this issue and a new username you wish to adopt that does not violate our username policy (specifically, understand that accounts are for individuals, not companies or groups, and that your username should reflect this). Usernames that have already been taken are listed here. Cirt (talk) 14:22, 15 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
