February 2020 edit

Hello, I'm Melmann. I noticed that you made a change to an article, University of North Texas, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Melmann 18:34, 24 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Out of curiosity - why did you remove that text, but not remove all of the other such text in the very same paragraph? That doe not seem right. 2604:2000:E010:1100:DC1B:15D8:6C3:E7F9 (talk) 18:51, 24 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
It may be because of our rules about biographies of living people. This policy applies to biographical information whether it's in a biography or on some other page, like the UNT page you were editing. When information can be construed as derogatory, as this sentence definitely can be, and when it's unsourced, it is especially important to delete it until it can be sourced.
BTW, I like the repositioning you did with the pictures. They're definitely an improvement. David in DC (talk) 20:07, 24 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
