You added the word fact- in template tags. Adding this did nothing to improve the article other than take up space. If you want to improve an article- add sources, or add information, do not add random- made upt templates to articles. Thank you. Nightenbelle (talk) 16:33, 16 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
The template was created for precisely this purpose. The material does not belong uncited. It is subject to immediate deletion - which of course I could properly do. Adding a cite needed tag - created for that purposed - is totally appropriate, and the less abrupt treatment. It is not a "random made up template." It is widely used at the project, for a decade at least.
To ensure that all Wikipedia content is verifiable, anyone may question an uncited claim. If your work has been tagged, please provide a reliable source for the statement, and discuss if needed.
Please self-revert, or I will revert. The burden is not on me to supply RS sourcing. But on the one restoring the content. See wp:burden.2603:7000:2143:8500:BCE6:9F4B:E3D8:9A43 (talk) 16:42, 16 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
