- Not all books are considered reliable sources. For example, when a researcher self-publishes their work, that cannot hold the same weight in an article as peer-reviewed academic publications. See also the policy on self-published sources; such sources should only be considered when the author is a well-established subject-matter expert, and even then treated with caution.
- Also, the fact that Wikipedia has editing policies and guidelines is not censorship. When you edit Wikipedia, you agree to follow the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use, which include adherence to project policies and guidelines.
