Fully sourced steam locomotive pages edit

Hey, do not the more citations needed template to steam locomotive pages such as Norfolk and Western 611, Southern Railway 1401, Union Pacific 4014, Atlantic Coast Line 1504, U.S. Sugar 148, etc., because some we're fully sourced. Trains13 (talk) 02:01, 5 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

There are plenty of bad sources I have seen in all of those pages, and not even you are doing a thing about it! 23.169.64.51 (talk) 02:31, 5 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

I'm not talking about the other locomotives such as 425, 475, and 90 pages, which all had very unreliable sources. I'm talking about you adding more citations needed template to the 611, 1401, 4014, 1504, and 148 pages, in which they don't need it, since their information were all cited with very good and reliable sources. Haven't you understood the words that I said to you? Trains13 (talk) 03:04, 5 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

What does 475 got to do with this? And someone told me that all steam locomotive pages should have the unreliable banner. I don’t know. I still remove some banners, anyway, because I get confused, as I have only been editing Wiki for less than a year now.23.169.64.51 (talk) 02:31, 5 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Next time, take a closer look at one of the steam locomotive pages and make sure it's fully sourced with very good and reliable sources. Trains13 (talk) 14:42, 5 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

February 2023 edit

Hey, numbered user! Why did you even try to give those other pages GA nominees in the first place?! I don’t think anonymous users are allowed to do that! While I try to follow Wikipedia’s so-called guidelines in terms of sources (not that I read any kind of manual), no matter how hard I try, I will never turn them into the “ideal page”. The page on 1385 especially isn’t perfect, and neither are any of the ones you tried to build up. I once watched you admit you “wanted” to act just like a user who always goes by the book, and yet, you don’t even try, anyway! You try to “show” you’re improving, but you’re actually not! Also, don’t you recall me advising you to make a real account with a proper name, so that people will take you seriously? I’ve noticed you never even tried that. Someone who likes train writing (talk) 04:54, 17 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Chill out girl. I was only copying User:Trainsfan1331, with the exception of specific sources that can limit one Wiki user of what to do and not to do. Tho, for some reason, I did originally think giving pages those GA nominations would've been a good idea. Another thing, I promised User:NorfolkandWesternBoi that I would use the sources he found in the pages I’m trying to mess with right now, albeit, I have stuff in real life that are constantly getting in the way. Idk if you noticed, but User talk:70.188.111.54 left a lot of draft articles behind, and he’s not even trying to make ‘em up. SO PLEASE STOP QUESTIONING WHAT IM DOING. I KNOW WHAT I’M DOING.
Did you just call me a girl?! You just struck a nerve, buddy boy... Also, you can't just tag other users into this. They don't need to be involved, and you cannot continuously manipulate them into cleaning up your mess. Someone who likes train writing (talk) 06:41, 19 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Question about St. Louis, Iron Mountain and Southern Railway 5 edit

Hi 23.169.64.51,

I suggest that you create an account because this makes it easier to address you - as an example, because you are using an IP account I can't be shure that the person who reads this is the same person who did this modification. Anyway, if that was you, I have a question: What is meant by "Columbian" type? Is this related to Columbian (B&O train) or Columbian (MILW train)? If so, we could link that. (I'm not in any way an railroad expert, I've just detected this article because I want to correct some typos).

Yours --Cyfal (talk) 13:57, 25 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Yes, that was me. I added “Columbian” type, because according to the sources I found, 2-4-2 engines were referred to as “Columbia’s”. It isn’t in any way relevant to the B&O or MILW trains you mentioned. Also, I suppose I’ll make a “proper” account……
Thank you very much for your answer. I had looked at Columbia and didn't find anything railway related but these two trains... I see, it would be better that I had take a look at 2-4-2, the word right before "Columbian" in this article - there it is mentioned! I've added it now here at Columbian, in Columbia it was already present. Yours--Cyfal (talk) 18:22, 25 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
