Revert notice edit

  Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Aytzim, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Please check the Talk page for a more detailed explanation of my edits. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Normal Op (talkcontribs) 23:17:45, 19 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Page numbers for citations edit

Please see Template:Rp for how to add page numbers to a citation that is used multiple times in an article (without duplicating the citation). The Template:Page numbers needed is used when someone is using an entire book as a citation and someone wants to know where in the book is the source that supports the content in the wiki article. Putting "1-374" is useless to help another editor determine where to look, and is NOT a suitable solution for the "page numbers needed" tag. I have fixed that for you in article Jewish vegetarianism. Please consider making a user account edit

See Wikipedia:Why create an account?. Specifically, it would be helpful in order to send you a message. When you log in, you will see a colored flag at the top of the screen. As a non-account user (an IP user), you are never notified when someone flags your name or puts something on your User Talk page. The article Wikipedia:Why create an account? gives you more reasons to create an account. Normal Op (talk) 07:05, 20 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Civility policy edit

  Hello, I'm Normal Op. I noticed that you made a comment that didn't seem very civil, so it has been removed. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Normal Op (talk) 07:27, 20 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

COI edit

  Hello, 216.164.60.237. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Aytzim, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Normal Op (talk) 21:04, 15 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

No connection, no COI. I simply follow and am interested in it, "Normal Op." I follow and am interested in baseball too, particularly in its history; sadly also no connection to any of the baseball teams whose pages I've edited. We all have our subject matter interests. 216.164.60.237 (talk) 03:28, 16 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
