Welcome! edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions so far. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

Here are some links to pages you may find useful:

You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:

If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (213.205.198.136) is used to identify you instead.

I hope that you, as a new Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).

June 2017 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did at History of the Conservative Party (UK), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. JRPG (talk) 13:43, 18 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

September 2017 edit

Hello, I'm 10metreh. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to James Nesbitt— because it did not appear constructive. Unblock request edit

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

213.205.198.136 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

This is a mobile phone IP range, likely to be used by large numbers of people. It is blocked because of disruptive editing by one person several days ago, very likely no longer relevant. Also before the block there were many constructive edits, probably nothing to do with the editor responsible for the block, so keeping the whole range blocked for so long is disproportionate.

Decline reason:

The block is working as intended. If you are not the user who was blocked, you should register an account to avoid this problem, either on a different computer/device or after the block has expired in a day or so. 331dot (talk) 23:25, 26 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

April 2019 edit

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Rinzai school, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Please do not add personal comments in article space: [1]. JimRenge (talk) 18:02, 28 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Hello, I'm JimRenge. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Rinzai school, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.
