I removed the sentence. We do avoid using recent in articles, see MOS:RECENT - but articles are constantly being improved in Wikipedia. Feel free to directly edit and update articles to fix things you see directly, since there aren't enough editors to fix all your suggestions that you give in talk page comments - many of which seem reasonable.
