September 2013 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Pashmina has been reverted.
Your edit here to Pashmina was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://cashmerepashmina.weebly.com/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page.   Hello, I'm John of Reading. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Nile Valley Civilizations without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I have restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Your draft article, Draft:NetMax Technology edit

Hello, 202.50.52.10. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "NetMax Technology".

If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Legacypac (talk) 09:01, 30 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Unblock request edit

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

This is a shared IP. Due to regulations imposed by the Nepalese government, all ISPs must manage traffic through a filtered proxy server. I refuse to be coerced into registering or providing Wikipedia with further personal information. I rarely edit pages as editors have usually marked off their own personal fiefdoms. On occasion I will suggest improvements to articles on talk pages. As this site is presented as free and open, I don't think my request is too much. As all abuse has been caught and rectified by the vigilant protectors of their personal fiefdoms, I find the banning of an entire ISP heavy handed. 202.50.52.10 (talk) 15:20, 21 July 2021 (UTC)legitmate userReply

Decline reason:

There is no right to edit Wikipedia via IP address. No personal information is required to create an account, and you are more anonymous with an account, not less. If you have an account, you can be granted an IP block exemption to allow you to edit despite your government's policies. If you don't wish to create an account, that is your choice, but you must accept the limitations that come with that choice. The only other option you have is to work to change your government or its policies to allow you to edit without using a proxy. Sorry. 331dot (talk) 15:37, 21 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I also find your description of "personal fiefdoms" disturbing; this is a collaborative project open to anyone who wishes to participate, if you have experienced poor treatment, please bring it to our attention at WP:ANI. 331dot (talk) 15:37, 21 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

In regards to personal fiefdoms, if you can't see that perhaps you are too close to the issue. A large portion of the Internet seems aware of this. As to providing an email address, I fail to see how that isn't further personal information. You can rationalize it however you wish, but at the end of the day my privacy is my responsibility. Unfortunately, I don't own any governments. I take exception to the presumption. 202.50.52.10 (talk) 11:54, 22 July 2021 (UTC)hard_no_thanksReply
