Hello, Ana, I have a few requests and suggestions

edit

Hi Ana, please take the following into careful consideration:

(1) Your edits are not minor, and therefore should not be marked "minor." Help:Minor edit explains what a minor edit is.

(2) When you make an edit, you must also explain what your edit was in the "Edit summary" box.

(3) Wikilinks are not case-sensitive. You do not need to capitalize them.

(4) Contributions must be sourced and referenced.

(5) Unfortunately, your English language skills are substandard. Adequate skill in the English language is necessary to edit or contribute to English-language Wikipedia. It seems very clear to me that English is not your native language; in fact, even your user-page comment is not in standard English. What this all means is that you need someone to edit your Wikipedia contributions before you add them to Wikipedia, to convert them into standard English. Can you find someone to do that? Otherwise, I would suggest editing the Wikipedia that is in your native language instead.

Thanks! I hope that was not too much all at once. You seem like a nice person, and once you find someone to help you, things will be better. The reason I'm writing this note is because I just spent more than two hours fixing the Erma Bombeck article, which was not in correct English. Softlavender (talk) 09:06, 10 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
