@Blaze Wolf: I fail to see a single edit in what you reverted that fits your description "nonconstructive edits". This phrase is usually used as a euphemism for borderline or actual vandalism: it says plainly "Your edits are unwelcome on Wikipedia". I will have to assume that you were a bit overhasty, since this seems unwarranted. Nevertheless, I'll be disinclined to edit for a while.

Hello. Thanks for pinging me here. Usually the term "nonconstructive edits" is used for when the edit isn't constructive but not pure vandalism. I reverted you because you added "Molar" to some things which seems rather strange and non-constructive. @Blaze Wolf: Ah, okay, that makes sense – your take on it looks like an obvious perspective in retrospect, now that you have explained. Were someone to insert "molar" gratuitously, it would indeed qualify as vandalism (at least in my opinion). In a technical context, "molar" can be a modifier adjective meaning "divided by the amount of substance (or number of moles)", as in "molar mass". You will see that in the article Gas constant, equivalent terms molar gas constant and ideal gas constant are given (with molar Boltzmann constant not given, though it occurs in the literature). Using multiple terms for the same thing as was the case in the text that I edited can be confusing, so I unified them, and chose to use the least ambiguous term "molar gas constant" as being "the most encyclopaedic" (even though many editors prefer to use the most commonly used term). 172.82.47.242 (talk) 00:28, 25 September 2022 (UTC)
