June 2022 edit

Hi, it may help you in your editing career to know that the lead (introductory) section of every article is intended purely as a summary of the main text in the body of the article. In any reasonably well-written article, that means that the body contains fully-cited text, and the lead summarizes the body without repeating the citations. To evaluate a lead section, you should first study the main text, and then decide if the lead summarizes it adequately. All the best, Chiswick Chap (talk) 08:28, 1 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Seems like a really bad way to give an article credibility, especially when leads can avoid listing analysis without citations, because that reads like original research. 135.180.43.185 (talk) 23:43, 2 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

July 2022 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Han Chinese, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Rastinition (talk) 22:35, 2 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

I re-worded a sentence? I removed the deletion of "who gave birth to Chinese civilization" from the diff, although the implication being left is that only the Han Chinese have contributed to Chinese culture... something not supported by the body of evidence in citations. 135.180.43.185 (talk) 23:42, 2 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
