It is for me to decide who I want to communicate with. If it is in direct relation to the specific article then the best place to discuss the article is in that place. I am not here to debate it beyond that point, especially when people default to globalist statements based on rhetoric rather than evidence. I asked repeatedly for said editor to put up any evidence (at all) to support their position and all I got back is "you're wrong, and off topic." This isn't a high school, I don't have to put up with that level of high school politics, or the Donald Trump antics of someone stating you're wrong without evidence. Nor do I have cheap point scoring based on baseless knowledge and tendentious editing. In fact, no one on Wikipedia by way of policy has to put up with tendentious editing. I have put forward a weight of knowledge on the subject, and particularly in the last instance where I was trying to explain the value of meaning, I was far from "off topic." I'm not here to debate that either, so the point is closed, before you tried to restore your failed edit after the facts to continue your childishness on my talk page. 120.17.217.218 (talk) 10:31, 14 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
This block is about your conduct, which is best discussed on this user talk page. I'm not familiar with your dispute, but you may not make personal attacks and have a general uncivil attitude. 331dot (talk) 10:47, 14 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
It would be pretty easy to see where the tendentiousness started when I asked the other person involved to put up some facts to support their opinion rather than defaulting to "you're wrong" and "you're off topic." As I also stated that was far from their decision to make, especially in the face of everything above. I'm happy to take a holiday to have the free leisure to speak my mind where necessary (always have been). You might want to check your facts as to where this argument escalated from though. Nothing that I explicitly linked to about meaning making or knowledge was "hopelessly off topic." In fact the semantics of the argument as to why that entire article is failing (and it isn't just my opinion) come down to the facts that "far left" has no one defined meaning... and that's entirely the problem with the article even being on Wikipedia in the first place. To state anything I said was off topic is quote unquote "bullshit" and I can say that here now because I'm already blocked. The reference to Feynman makes perfect sense in relation to the value of having topics that have a valid meaning and if the other party can't infer that then they're more than a little bit naive. I'm not here to discuss the consequences, I already accepted them, you may wish to further investigate where the real problem started however. --120.17.217.218 (talk) 10:54, 14 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
