February 2007 edit

Hello and welcome to my talk page!!!

Second City of the United Kingdom
Please help Wikipedia by not using personal attacks against editors as you did in your comment against Majabl. This is against the policy on civility. Thanks. MarkThomas 15:55, 4 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

With regards to your comments on Second city of the United Kingdom: Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. 3RR Warning: Second City of the United Kingdom
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content which gains a consensus among editors. May 2007 edit

Your edits to Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images
Do not remove discussions from pages, as you did on Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images. The licensing disputes have not been resolved, and you need to provide proof that the images in question are actually in the public domain. If not, the images will be deleted. If you continue to blank pages and revert tags, you will be blocked. --Coredesat 21:35, 26 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Also, the next time you leave personal attacks on user talk pages, as you did to User talk:Erebus555, you will be blocked. --Coredesat 21:37, 26 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Regarding edits made during May 27 2007 (UTC) to Manchester Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Erebus555 17:58, 27 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Manchester: too long
Please explain why you think the "too long" template on Manchester is misplaced, or restore it. Thank you. Andy Mabbett 18:34, 27 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • This edit, to my user page, and which appears related to the above, was unacceptable. Desist. Andy Mabbett
If this article should include a too long tag on the article page then so should the Birmingham article but everytime I add one it gets reverted. Usually by people in the wikiWest Midlands project. This shows blatent POV and sheer bullying.

0Andrew0 18:38, 27 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

The tag has been removed from Birmingham after the size of the article was halved. There is no requirement for these articles to be treated as a matched pair in the way you suggest. Andy Mabbett 18:41, 27 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

The Birmingham page is still too large and needs to be tagged until it meets the standards set by wikipedia. 0Andrew0 18:42, 27 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Which standards? Also, please keep discussion on this page. Andy Mabbett 18:45, 27 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Do not add a fake protected template to your page. You have also done this before. To request page protection, post at WP:RFPP. Deliberately mis-representing the state of your user page is vandalism. -N 18:58, 27 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use disputed for Image:MAG.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:MAG.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:30, 13 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
