Can you please undo the changes made by my son to the Ministry of Transportation article.

Please undo unconstructive edits made by my son as I am having trouble logging in to undo them.

You can use the talk page of my IP address to let me know if this is possible.

Thanks,

Matt. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 45.3.28.242 (talk) 04:25, 29 October 2016 (UTC)

Whisperback

Hello. You have a new message at Kudpung's talk page. 01:55, 2 November 2016 (UTC)

About the talk page message.

I'm sorry! I was just messing around. There's one more thing I'd like to send you, but I'm afraid it won't fit in the text window! Shelton256 (talk) 03:59, 2 November 2016 (UTC)

It's fine just please don't do it again. We want to let users know that Wikipedia is forgiving and accepting, please feel free to improve wikipedia as long as it helps the Encyclopedia! -glove- (talk) 04:05, 2 November 2016 (UTC)
And another thing, what should I do if my edit doesn't fit in the edit box? Shelton256 (talk) 04:12, 2 November 2016 (UTC)
What do you mean by that? Most edits should fit in the box. What is it you are trying to do? -glove- (talk) 04:13, 2 November 2016 (UTC)
What if my edit is very long and contains a lot of information, like the first 5000000 digits of e or π, except with encyclopedic content instead of numbers? Shelton256 (talk) 04:19, 2 November 2016 (UTC)
Most edits that are very long should go through, do you know why its not working? Is there a notification or message when you try to do it? Bear in mind though that large amounts of content may not adhere to the being encyclopedic policy as Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information, and other user may remove your changes, but remember if you believe that it is improvement then please Be Bold! -glove- (talk) 04:31, 2 November 2016 (UTC)
Here! I'll send the first chunk! One sec. Shelton256 (talk) 04:41, 2 November 2016 (UTC)
ok yeah that was massive, unless it's a list I don't know if it will be accepted, even if it's on a list it might not. -glove- (talk) 04:52, 2 November 2016 (UTC)
Did you even read it? Shelton256 (talk) 04:53, 2 November 2016 (UTC)
What browser do you have? Shelton256 (talk) 04:54, 2 November 2016 (UTC)
I was on a mobile device at the time and I couldn't even scroll to the bottom, all I noticed where some names. So I don't think it will be accepted since that would impair mobile users. -glove- (talk) 05:18, 2 November 2016 (UTC)

Thanks -glove-!

Reply to the message you left on my page

I edit on my phone and I'm painfully slow at touch typing. I was just leaving you a message on your page when I got the email that you had messaged me. Independent sourcing means sourcing that is from someplace other than the school, the district, or an organization that is directly connected to either.
  1. Ideally, the ONLY things that should be sourced to the school are the mundane stuff like the address and the principal's name. Unless someone has disputed that, it shouldn't need a reference in the article, as the source (the school's website) should already be there (twice, actually).
  2. There are a couple things that can be sourced to the school, if no better sources exist. History (as long as it isn't overly promotional in the source, or obviously factually incorrect in the source) can be sourced to the school, but should be sourced to a secondary independent source. A listing of AP courses, a listing of fine arts courses (band, chorus, etc), a listing of academic teams, a listing of athletic teams (for the teams, only those that compete interscholasticly on the highest level i.e. varsity)(and per WP:WEIGHT, make sure it's complete) can be referenced to the school, but where possible, should have an independent source (and for athletics, it is almost always possible). All these things need a specific reference in the article.
  3. Nearly everything else needs secondary sources independent of the school. For anything that is a "wow" factor like accomplishments and achievements, or any superlatives like first or largest, reliable independent sources are must.
It's late, and I've had a 4 year old being a brat all day, so if any of the above isn't clear, please let me know. I'll be up a while enjoying quiet time. Thanks for caring about school articles. I haven't archived last month yet so you can see above just how not fun trying to keep school articles encyclopedic can be at times. Thanks for bring kind and concerned. Thank you this helps a lot! Also yeah I agree school articles are not the easiest thing to edit since most of their history is only recorded by the students and the school itself which doesn't lead to much sources and much reliable sources. And I noticed that they are always the most vandalized article, especially around the time most schools have lunch and for about an hour after most schools get out. -glove- (talk) 04:24, 4 November 2016 (UTC)

Discussion at Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/Pending changes reviewer#User:-glove-

You are invited to join the discussion at Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/Pending changes reviewer#User:-glove-. An administrator has asked you a question regarding your request for Pending Changes Reviewer permissions. Gestrid (talk) 02:57, 6 November 2016 (UTC)

Reviewer

Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.

Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.

Rollback

I have granted the "rollbacker" permission to your account. After a review of some of your contributions, I believe you can be trusted to use rollback for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, contact me and I will remove it. Good luck and thanks. – Gilliam (talk) 23:12, 18 November 2016 (UTC)

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

Hello, -glove-. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)

Attack on Titan edit

Hello. I added the spoiler warning line in the Attack on Titan article, plot section. You claim it wasn't constructive, but I think my addition was very constructive for people who don't expect to get EVERY SURPRISE IN THE ENTIRE SERIES spoiled by reading a couple short paragraphs. I have had it happen to me, and I know I hate it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.184.72.2 (talk) 21:53, 15 May 2017 (UTC)

Spoilers don't matter on Wikipedia, if you don't want it spoiled then don't read the article, Wikipedia does not cater to people because they have a personal complaint with the article. If you would like to know more on our rules regarding spoilers and spoiler alerts in articles please see WP:SW. -glove- (talk) 22:00, 15 May 2017 (UTC)

Thank you!

You reverted my edits in the Italian profanity page and thank you for that! I did not realize that I didn't delete the part i wanted to change! I recently deleted that part and put in the correct edit but I had to thank you for saving my editing times. Dinah Kirkland (talk) 16:32, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
