Next time, please consider placing your edits into a sandbox (test page) under your namespace (e.g., User:Philipandrew/sandbox). No one will nominate your edits for deletion or bug you about not following policy if you place them inside your own sandboxes. Now when you've done that, feel free to consult anyone who might be interested in the topic you're writing about, so that he may edit your work if you've convinced him enough to do it. Only place your edits into the mainspace (i.e., real articles) when they're ready. Another suggestion of mine is consider seeking adoption, so that someone who's patient enough could mentor you through the process. I would like to clarify that I do not bear anything personal against you. I do believe that you have the passion to make Wikipedia better. You tell me. Please provide independent, reliable sources that significantly cover the award for that year. Passing mentions do not count. The sources must significantly cover (i.e., provide commentary and establish notability) the award for that particular year itself, otherwise it does not have notability independent of the award itself. I tried to get at least 1 reliable reference of that year for each year to cover for the winners list, date and place of the event. The other two is for introducing the award-giving body. You do know (or at least that's what I think) that looking for past references in the Philippines is difficult. In addition, GMMSF does not even have its own website (or articles related to them), which makes it more difficult. Would you prefer to just list the winners instead, just like the other pages that I saw?(rhetoric question) Also, I am planning to improve the main page, after I finish ALL of the years. How would I know what to put on the main page if I do not research on each year first? It's just like collecting ideas, researching for bits of information (each year) before creating an actual essay (parent page). If ever the information on each page is not enough, you could at least put some other tags to improve the article rather than redirect it right away as it "could plausibly be expanded into an article" WP:R#DELETE; to "Consider whether the article could be improved..." As I've said, I redirected the pages because I don't think they are independently notable. It has nothing to do with the content or lack thereof. Providing one reference may not be enough to fulfill WP:GNG. What is needed is significant coverage, from multiple, reliable, independent sources to establish independent notability. I know that is hard, especially with the Philippine web, but 'tis the sad fact of systemic bias. Anyway, if you still think otherwise, you may forward this concern to the Philippines workgroup so we could see what other editors think about it. Again, I would recommend focussing on the parent article instead and then working from there. If ever I finished improving it, however, would you take into consideration to undo your edit on the independent pages so that I can improve on those years as well? It's just that I want all the winners throughout the years to be documented (before the main source will be deleted), and adding all of them in one page is too much. Tinag sila hindi dahil sa imbalidong lisensya kundi dahil wala silang ensiklopedikong gamit. Kunwari, sa Maka-Diyos, Maka-Tao, Makakalikasan at Makabansa nilagay mo doon ang isang imahe ng baybayin na sulat ng nasabing moto. Pero hindi naman siya importante para sa artikulong iyon. where you are coming from suggesting Lonely Planet Indonesia for deletion - it is one of about 3 or 4 titles that are essential for understanding the tourist industry in Indonesia - and also the information about the country.
