Sorry, I was trying to create a template for a Userbox expressing a preference for the poetry of Ahmed Fouad Negm, and was misled into thinking I was doing so. I did not realize that a page had been created instead..--أخوها (talk) 22:46, 21 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
I've moved the userbox to User:أخوها/Negm instead. (You are generally allowed to create userboxes within your own userspace.) Anyone can now put {{User:أخوها/Negm}} on their own user page, and it will display. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 00:05, 22 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
This user likes the poetry of Ahmed Fouad Negm
Thanks for doing the English version of the userbox. Can you tell me where I can find out how to make a template for the box so that {{Ahmed Fouad Negm}} or {{أحمد فؤاد نجم}} will produce the box without having to copy all the details of the code? Thanks again for your help.--أخوها (talk) 01:18, 22 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
That's what I was talking about above. What people can put in to produce the box without having to copy all the details of the code is:

{{User:أخوها/Negm}}

It has to be something that starts with "User:,,,". If you would prefer to have it be something that is all in English characters, it could be moved to {{User:UBX/Negm}} instead, if you prefer. (The User:UBX account is an account set up just to host userboxes.) I haven't moved it to User:UBX/Negm yet, though.

By the way, the translation into English was actually done by User:Justlettersandnumbers. My role was to move the userbox to your userspace so that it wouldn't have to be deleted. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 04:43, 22 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Islamic and Jahili months edit

The article Islamic and Jahili months has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unclear what the purpose of this table is, lacks all context or indication of notability or verifiability. Where do the Jahili months come from?

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Explaining edit

I patrolled your page. I went through the enormously-backlogged list of newly-created pages and confirmed that your page was okay: not spam, not an attack page, not a copyright violation, not any of the other reasons for which I would delete someone's page without asking. Then I clicked "patrolled" to remove it from the list of "pages that have not yet been patrolled", and moved on to the next entry. That's all. DS (talk) 20:56, 20 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Multiple accounts edit

So wait, is this account separate from User:Akhooha, the transliteration of the same name? There appear to be two sets of contributions: Special:Contributions/Akhooha and Special:Contributions/أخوها, both of which were active as of a few weeks ago. Did you forget a password or something? If so, it might be a good idea to check out WP:MULTIPLE. MezzoMezzo (talk) 06:11, 8 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your interest. I have three accounts due to my ignorance when starting on Wikipedia, as I thought a separate account was needed for each language version. I started with Akhooha on the English version, then with أخوها on the Arabic version, then with Akhooha on the Polish version. I have made no attempt to hide the fact that these accounts are related, as you can see from the Userpages for these accounts:
Who is Akhooha? (English)
مَن هو أخوها؟ (Arabic)
Kto jest Akhooha? (Polish)
I hope I have answered your question.--أخوها (talk) 16:04, 8 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
That makes sense now, as I was looking at one set of contribs (not user pages) and then I saw another and I got confused. Isn't there a way to, like, merge the accounts or something? (Not my business technically but I'm envisioning possible problems from a few angles) MezzoMezzo (talk) 02:37, 9 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
A while back I looked into merging the accounts and was told that while it was possible to merge accounts within a language group, it was not yet possible to merge across language groups, although that may be a possibility in the future . In the meantime, I just try (sometimes unsuccessfully as has been seen) to be logged on with "akhooha" for work in the English, and with "أخوها" for work in the Arabic... --أخوها (talk) 16:45, 9 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
